ALBANY, NY—Governor Andrew Cuomo of New York has extended a generous offer to house Trump at one of his state’s finest nursing homes.
Cuomo says he is making the gesture out of the goodness of his heart and that nothing bad will happen to the president, as nursing homes in New York have a great track record of taking care of COVID patients.
“We’ve got ample space, and it’s really quiet around here — honestly, it’s to die for,” Governor Cuomo said. “We have plenty of beds, and rest assured, you’ll be well taken care of, Mr. President.”
“Many people are using Trump’s illness to divide, but it’s time to unite and come together as Americans, and this is just my small way to do just that.”
At publishing time, Cuomo had offered instead to just send COVID patients directly to the White House to cough on everybody if that better suited the president’s busy schedule.

A bit of satire yes.However I would not doubt this could just as well be something that could be true. As a lifelong resident of NY (way upstate) I have watched it collapse into a near failed state. Decades of Liberal government by clowns like this guy have taken this once great state to near bankruptcy. The hard thing to comprehend about it is that most of the people here complain relentlessly about it. Then go right back to it. Talk about the hive mentality. Rational leaders would look at how other states balance their budgets, pass laws that make life better,or just leave alone what does not have to be messed with. Not his blowhard. His answer to the failed liberal policies is to double down,or cry and whine for a federal bailout. I do love living here in the Adirondacks so leaving is out of the question.That and anyone who has deep roots in an area will just suck it up. I pray that there will be no bailout from the feds,and NY goes belly up. Perhaps then (esp.NYC) the people of NY will feel some pain,but realize it is time to go politically in a different direction. Until then….NY reaps what it sows.
Odds are NY is already bankrupt (along with the rest of USA) and the plan is to destroy the economy entirely so King Cuomo will preside over its receivership and divvy up the booty among himself and his cronies. We will be Renters. Feudal Serfs. Slaves.
