Haven’t voted yet, if we do at all it will be on the 3rd. We are in a county that has stayed mask free, but the county seat’s city commissioners (10 miles N., with an industrial park, etc. located
in that 10 miles) elected to mandate mask, but their school district was open.
Our town, of slightly larger size, the commissioners have stayed with no mask mandate, but the school district was shut down. Now, as we approach the election, they have made the early voting location the training room at the 1 yr. old, $20 million water plant. (just had a 20” main break that shut off the south half of town three days ago)I guess they would be considered non essential workers ? My older brother just told me today, that he went down there and voted, no mask and four or five election workers…..all just “real friendly”.
Have had an ice storm, limbs/trees down every where, power crews are swamped…..gonna go out and start loadin up a truck load…..worried about the electric line going into the house we bought for her mom. Dang line runs from the transformer, thru the neighbors massive old cottonwood (that hasn’t been trimmed over the years except by storm). Got a couple of limbs that will rip that electric line out of the back side of that house like a cable on a wench, must be over 80′ to the transformer, with no alley in the back….
