Could Secession Succeed?

Could Secession Succeed?

There’s an undeniable pleasure in imagining the blue states cut off from America and forced to fend for themselves without normal Americans to feed them, fuel them, and defend them from the kind of dirtbags they kiss up to in order to show us knuckle-dragging Jesus-folk what for. But secession is a terrible idea, for them, but more importantly, for us. And while I don’t think America will unravel anytime soon – though those of us who read real history instead of silly oppression studies dreck understand that all great civilizations do eventually collapse – it remains possible that our country could fall apart in the short-term. Heaven knows the idiots in our useless Establishment seem to be doing everything possible to make that happen. That thought itself should be enough to inspire you to get fighting for the Constitution, using its provisions twice as hard despite the election theft last month, while hedging your bets with a 5.56mm rainy day fund.

Yes, the irony is clear that a guy like me who drew the fussy, femmy ire of the cruise-shilling Fredocon hacks and their cheesy blogs over his best-selling books about America splitting into red and blue nations is saying “Secession no!” Yet I was never a supporter of a national divorce, as tempting as it is to walk out on the libs for a younger, hotter, and less annoying partner. My five conservative action novels are based in a world where the country is ripped in two by the Left, and the latest, “Crisis,” takes place as this schism is happening. There’s action and humor, and Eric Swalwell shows up – no, not with some Chi-Com hooker, but definitely with the pungency for which he is renown – but it all looks far too much like real life to be comfortable. My books are a warning, not a how-to manual.

In my books, the Democrats destroy our national bonds through a combination of corruption, arrogance, incompetence, malice, and a transcendent lack of wisdom. Unfortunately, subject to some unlikely electoral deus ex krakena, it appears that we will be subjected to an asterisk-marked Democrat president and an accompanying administration that epitomizes corruption, arrogance, incompetence, malice, and a transcendent lack of wisdom. So, that’s scary.

These clowns absolutely could push us to the breaking point. A President Biden* would be bad, but on the upside, Grandpa Badfinger is a creaky zombie whose “Matlock” marathon-focused lifestyle is not conducive to big changes. Yet the activists brought inside the gates inside their Trojan donkey, including Kamala “Here, Have Some Cookies I Baked For You, And Why Yes, They Are Supposed To Taste Funny” Harris, do want to push the fascism envelope. They think they are just a few decrees away from subjugating all us Lord-loving, gun-having, gender-understanding Neanderthals forever.

What they don’t see, because they don’t know any normal people – and occasionally saying “Hola” to their gardener does not count as knowing normal people – is how furious we are. Elites don’t feel our anger, mostly because elites are behind their walls guarded by normal people with guns who may soon have to decide where their loyalties lie, with their own people or with their masters.

Yes, there is the potential for serious violence and even secession. It still seems unlikely – using our Constitution and its provisions remain the best way to sweep away the petty tyranny and the electoral fraud – but it could happen. Normalizing the BLM/Antifa/Other scumbag violence last summer was pretty short-sighted by the people who don’t have most of the guns. But hey – we have what Glenn Instapundit Reynolds has accurately assessed as the worst ruling class ever, so poorly-thought out initiatives is par for the course.

Here’s a positive thing: Secession and massive violence are unlikely because the people pushing the SJW agenda just aren’t likely to put themselves in a place where they can die for their ridiculous beliefs. Yes, there are exceptions – mostly the criminal element that gloms onto the Left of the kind Kyle Rittenhouse expunged – but a lot of these young leftists who would presumably be the vanguard of the revolution feel they have too much to live for to get hurt. Putting yourself in real danger – not performative risk at some mini-riot where you know the cops will sit back and, worse case, you end up arrested and released with a warning – over…pronouns?

I don’t see it.

On the other hand, I do see a lot of people on the Right motivated not by some ridiculous cant about systemic racism from their man-bunned TA but by the defense of their religion. And a lot of them are older and figure, “Hey, I had a good run, and my knees are too sore to start living on them.” Oh, and lots of them are vets, and they all have guns.

Yes, the potential is there for conflict. If the malignant Left pushes the already volcanically angry normals too far, stuff could go south. The liberal campaign to strip normals of their rights, property, and dignity is poorly thought-through. Sure, it’s fun for the elite to get their jollies messing with us, but the thing that keeps the lid on this boiling pot is that right now, most people have something to lose. But if you take everything away from someone, he becomes extremely dangerous – something the epically unwise ruling caste, most of whom have never been in a fistfight, don’t get.

But what if we split in two voluntarily? Wouldn’t that solve things? We in red America can keep living in America, and the blues can have their Venezuela del Norte. My books take place in that scenario. It’s a bad scenario.

There’s a reason divorced people don’t buy houses next door to each other, but that’s what a national divorce would mean. Do you think for even a second that we might get along? As the natural consequences of liberal policies, unmoored and unrestrained by patriots, create crime, poverty, and general misery, in a real-life “People’s Republic,” could you imagine the ruling class of the blue states looking at the wreckage they created and saying anything other than, “Well, obviously all our problems are the result of red state racism!”

It’s not like they would invade us. My books look at the ridiculous PC world of a blue military – but who is to say they wouldn’t invite in their pals, partners, and procurers, the Chi-Coms, to help out?

Remember how you keep your friends close and your enemies closer? We want the tech companies, the corporations, the media, and the rest of the institutions within our country where we can begin the process of crushing and taming them, not off in some other nation where they are untouchable. Our wokeness in light of the last few years of establishment misbehavior has created a ruthless resolve to break these garbage institutions to our will. We can’t do that if they can hide across the border in Neo-California.

Still, the blue checks talk a big game about the blue states living without us, but you can’t grow enough kale in the garden box outside your NYC apartment’s window to survive no matter how skinny your jeans are. And when the rulers of the blue states realize that they sacrificed their ability to generate energy, and thus run their Teslas and fuel their pedo express jets, on the altar of the climate hoax, they’ll be sad. If you could eat and power stuff with undeserved smugness, they’d be all set. But they can’t.

They need us, and we are better off with them, though the blue elite must be defeated. That’s the fight; to win back what is ours. No retreat. No surrender. No compromise with these feckless geebos. This is our country, and it’s going to stay one country, and it’s going to run pursuant to the terms of the Constitution, and that’s that.

But hey, lib secession jerks, you can always move your sorry butts to Canada.

“There’s an undeniable pleasure in imagining the blue states cut off from America and forced to fend for themselves without normal Americans to feed them, fuel them, and defend them from the kind of dirtbags they kiss up to…” is pure fantasy. The blue states support the red states, not the other way around. CA and NY fund KY, et al. And if you think you’re defending the country from… whatever, remember what Democrats say: “We own guns too. We just don’t masturbate over them in public.”
The confederacy thought all them city boys couldn’t shoot straight, or survive the harsh conditions. The confederacy lost. We won’t bother beating you down and saving your ass this time. Go away.

The South was out numbered 3 to 1 and were arguably “winning” in the early years. Ultimately, the union had to turn to conscription to fill their ranks which caused riots in NY and elsewhere, because yankees didn’t actually care enough to die for the cause.

No, but whether it’s bitcoin or dollars, you can buy food with money. From Mexico, from South America – from democrat farmers in red state America, of which there are many. Hell, even “conservative” farmers will sell to their ostensible enemies at the right price. I’d like to think conservatives or red states or “normals” could blockade the liberals, but it’s not true. Shit, how are Georgia and North Carolina even swing states? Once Larry Ellison and Elon Musk bring enough of their employees to Austin, even Texas may fall. The people of this country are decadent and the courts are a farce. Slowing the decline seems the best we can hope for, at least for now. Maybe I’m wrong. I hope so, but I doubt it.

The Confederacy lost because the North was industrialized, capitalized and had an unlimited source of immigrants ( mostly Irish) to throw in the fight as cannon fodder. Get some more history dumbass, you are sorely bereft of fact.

Secession is not only a God-given right, it is an American tradition. The nation split in 1861 .It is only now being finalized.

“If you bring these [Confederate] leaders to trial it will condemn the North, for by the Constitution secession is not rebellion. Lincoln wanted Davis to escape, and he was right. His capture was a mistake. His trial will be a greater one.”
Chief Justice Salmon P. Chase, July 1867 (Foote, The Civil War, Vol. 3, p. 765)

“[T]he contest is really for empire on the side of the North, and for independence on that of the South, and in this respect we recognize an exact analogy between the North and the Government of George III, and the South and the Thirteen Revolted Provinces. These opinions…are the general opinions of the English nation.”
London Times, November 7, 1861

“Our country demands all our strength, all our energies. To resist the powerful combination now forming against us will require every man at his place. If victorious, we will have everything to hope for in the future. If defeated, nothing will be left for us to live for.”
Robert E. Lee

“The principle for which we contend is bound to reassert it’s self, though it may be at another time and in another form.”
President Jefferson Davis, C.S.A.

“We feel that our cause is just and holy; we protest solemnly in the face of mankind that we desire peace at any sacrifice save that of honour and independence; we ask no conquest, no aggrandizement, no concession of any kind from the States with which we were lately confederated; all we ask is to be let alone; that those who never held power over us shall not now attempt our subjugation by arms.”
President Jefferson Davis, C.S.A. – 29 April 1861

“All that the South has ever desired was that the Union as established by our forefathers should be preserved and that the government as originally organized should be administered in purity and truth.”
Robert E. Lee

Yes, stay in the union so the Repubs can win the next rigged election. Stick with the Constitution that hasn’t stopped one “progressive” innovation since 1913. Win back what is “ours” although we haven’t won a thing in decades as the government has grown, taxes have gone up, regulations have increased, and our liberties have shrunk. That a way, Kurt, stick with what hasn’t worked. Oh, and buy his books.

Could secession succeed? Yes, it could, but would mean the destruction of the U.S. not only as a world power, but also as an entity with the power to defend and protect its citizens from foreign intervention and possible control.

I have not read any of the author’s books, so it is not possible for me to comment on his political philosophy. I can, however, make a few suggestions based on my own thinking and legal training. Below I have copied some language from what I believe to be one of the most important documents from the formation period of this Republic. It is the introductory provision from the Kentucky Resolutions of 1798 written by Thomas Jefferson. I think it is important because it reflects clearly the thinking of the founders behind the specific language in the Constitution.

The quote:
1. Resolved, that the several states composing the United States of America, are not united on the principle of unlimited submission to the general government; but that by compact under the style and title of a Constitution for the United States and of amendments thereto, they constituted a general government for special purposes, delegated to that government certain definite powers, reserving each State to itself, the residuary mass of right to their own self-government; and that whensoever the general government assumes undelegated powers, its acts are unauthoritative, void, and of no force…

This is the classic definition of nullification – void and of no force. Remember the language in the Tenth Amendment: The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

Allen West has suggested a form of “Union” of the “red states”, which is a good idea. Organize the economic, financial, state governmental and militia strengths into a coordinated opposition to the deepstate and beaurocratic monopoly and the liberally controlled coastal states. That needs to be done at the State level, and it is up to us to focus on controlling our states to work within such a “Union” as suggested by Lt. Col. West.

I do not believe the Pentagon will interfere with such a move. The power of the national military will not be affected, and many of the rank and file will be from and sympathetic to the Union of States.

Just my thoughts.

This essay’s promotion the national marriage makes as much sense as couples that stay in a loveless marriage until the kids graduate. In those marriages everyone knows it is a sham, including the kids, and no one prospers.

It’s no different with the dysfunctional marriage between states. When we were loosely bound by a national culture it may have made sense but those days are long gone. Now we are 300M+ with little shared culture or history.

But, by all means keep buying Schlicter’s books.

If this election is allowed to stand I have no doubt there will be serious consequences, read;Civil War. If this travesty that we call an election stands, there will be NO election in 4 years, only an anointing of one of perhaps 2 equally marxist choices. There will be no country to save as it will be in ruins financially as well as morally. Third world toilet status will be the only thing Biden can give us.

GA races are already decided. The contest is between Socialism and Democrat-lite. The Rinos have skillfully maneuvered to make themselves to be the only choice to save a nation when the proper question is if the nation deserves saving.

Both of the Rinos are contemptible candidates that I would not cross the street to cast a ballot for. I particularly find the woman loathsome.

She clearly bought the seat, dresses as common folk by wearing designer jeans and flannel while wearing a trucker hat because a focus group said to wear jeans & flannel, and tries her best to act like a plebe while being disgusted by us and it shows in her eyes.

The male candidate represents everything appalling about entrenched skypeople but he has many years of experience lying and pretending to represent anything other than his wallet. He is fortunate enough to be running against Beto’s limpwristed soy sister and has a better chance than The R Barbie.

If these 2 are the best the R’s could muster it is more evidence the R party should just be tossed on the junkpile along with the belief in fair elections.

“Yet I was never a supporter of a national divorce”

In other words, Kurt likes the Left. I think that is actually true of most people who endlessly complain about the Left, like Kurt. Virtually every commentary of his can be reduced to four words – Republicans good, Democrats bad. Yet he doesn’t want to be rid of them, and never proposes any realistic solution for solving the problem. Most people who endlessly complain about the Left enjoy the complaining so much that they would actually be disappointed if they didn’t have the Left around to complain about anymore.

Of course, that is true for most on the Left also. They enjoy complaining about the Right so much that they would rather keep the Right around than get a divorce.
