No, but I just got a phone call from a polling firm asking me to complete a 30-minute survey on what I do with my leisure time. I said, “30 minutes! The goddamn government has outlawed pretty well any leisure activities outside of our own homes.” He pointed out we can enjoy leisure activities inside our homes, so I replied, “Okay. Here are my leisure activities: reading, TV, listening to music, sex, eating, drinking, sleeping, and shitting. I just saved you 29 minutes. Goodbye.”

I couldn’t take their little poll because it didn’t have a KMA as a choice for an answer.

No, and wouldn’t respond if they asked. Not getting the vaccine, but certainly don’t need to be a target of their future violence. I let folks know who need to know and why.
Suing spam texters – and receiving up to $500-$1500 per unwanted text – is possible if you’ve experienced any one of these situations:
You received an unwanted commercial text on your wireless device, and you haven’t given permission to the company to send you texts and you don’t have an existing business relationship with that company.
You received a text that did not provide you with an automatic opt-out mechanism.
You opted out but are still receiving texts.
Your mobile device is registered on the national Do-Not-Call list.
The text you received was sent by an autodialer.
Do not delete and keep accurate records of the numbers that have texted you, along with screenshots, dates, times, and information about the company or texter. This kind of evidence may improve the likelihood of your lawsuit’s success.

EC was a long time poster, a true Big Dog around here … who, most sadly, died about a year ago at a rather young age. He was beloved by all … a VERY funny and witty fellow. EC is the abbreviation for the name he used most, El Coyote …. although he used many name combinations with the letters “E” and “C”.
El Coyote was a good friend of mine …. and many, many others.
If so inclined, you can read the tribute to EC here ….
I remember El Coyote. He and I sometimes agreed and sometimes flamed each others’ asses halfway off. RIP, mi ‘mano El Coyote.
I was absent from here for a few years. Looking around for familiar faces, I noticed that some name changes have occurred, including some using initials instead of the whole names.
Thanks for the answer.

Good advice from many here, block, ignore. I do NOT get these messages. One of the biggest reasons is I NEVER leave my phone number with ANY company. They sell that info or ‘share’ it with third parties. If I don’t see who the caller is, call display, then I can’t be bothered to answer the call. Don’t recognize the number, I don’t answer. They don’t leave a message identifying them, I don’t call back. I get virtually no spam calls or texts.

I refuse to participate in any polls or surveys of any kind. It’s nobody else’s business. A few years ago, I received a survey in the mail with a crisp 5 dollar bill. The booklet had 40 pages of questions asking everything from what shampoo I use to how much money I had in the bank! I didn’t fill it out, but my back account grew by $5 . Don’t you know they sent me another one a few months later? Some people never learn.

Is there an option to text back FU?
I would ignore that completely. Delete it.
“Shall we call down fire from Heaven upon them?”
Too extreme?
And block the number.
Definitely block the number!
I am up at 445 am and there are helicopters flying over.
March Forth and conquer.
I ignore most messages on my phone. I see the phone as convenient for me. Unless I recognize the sender, I ignore.
Ditto.
I forgot to ask: What is a WIP and who is EC? Forgive me for being so out of touch over here.
