It’ll only get worse.
I try to have some positive outlook, otherwise I think I would get mad then postal. I live alone in a commie town so I do not have any type of “social life” (even before covid 1984) which on occasion can be very depressive.
Time to move then. Move to a town where there are like minded people where you can move freely and interact with those citizens. Peace of mind and community is better than self isolation and living among unfriendlies.
Besides you have skills and a brain that other people would benefit from, go share it with those who’d appreciate it. There is more value in that for them and yourself, than all the tea in the UK.
