Cutting the voice of Freedom, cutting the votes cutting the culture. The leftists will have to learn to either tolerate or to vanish.

Make education great again:

Abolish ALL government involvement in education
Abolish ALL government “funding” mechanisms associated with education
Abolish ALL government-run schools of education
Abolish ALL government regulations on school curricula, operation, staffing, etc.
Abolish ALL government teacher licensing requirements
Abolish any and all regulations, hurdles, etc. that stand in the way of parents and a fully competitive marketplace of education providers from being able to create a creative and functional marketplace of services (including charity schools and private scholarships) that serves the needs of the customers of education – the parents and students.

That would do it. I might also add abolish lazy and uncaring parents that would put their kids in public schools.

I wonder what happened between the time I and my peers went to “public’ school. We came out being able to read and write and do math and think critically, the essentials. We also did not accept bullshit from those who were unable to think. My mother taught high school, some teachers were good and some were just stupid and lazy and the students knew who was who.

Common core.

My kids got it in elementary school. Instead of memorizing multiplication tables and such the laid out come grid crap and took them 5 times longer to do their math. Then they where not allowed to think or taught how to think through a problem. I was all the time making them think and do things for themselves while continually telling them no owes you nothing., if you want something work for it.

It seemed to have stuck on one kind of, but not the other.

1. Prayer was removed from the classroom
2. Corporal punishment was removed from the classroom
3. Integration
4. Busing killed the neighborhood schools and parent would not drive across town to get involved.
5. Schools were prevented from segregating students according to ability
6. Liberals took over the Colleges of Education at all of the universities
7. Dept. of Education took control away from local/state school boards/parents

A fully competitive and free market in educational services, free of government mandates, would serve the individual needs and wishes of parents and students alike. You are speaking like a central planner. That is how we got here.

Yes to a certain extent. While your suggestions on what to teach might be right for some, they might not be right for others. A fully competitive free market will meet the needs of all in the best manner. Let the marketing people for the educational institutions “sell” the idea of teaching more sustainable living, skills, etc. I’m sure many will appreciate the benefit of such teachings…while some will not. And no, my criticism does not mean that I support teaching them to be corporate slaves either.

Liberty- Teaching people to be independent outside of the cabal and their corporate feeding troughs/drive thru world is germane to all. In other words,, being more self sufficient and not dependent on Big Ag. I’m not implying everyone studies to run large production farms. You can container farm on a high rise balcony.

The day will come when food raised on our soil will be sent to Asia and we will struggle, much like the Irish did so long ago. I understand your point Liberty but growing real food and food in general is essential to healthy humans.

If you want marketing companies to sell the instruction option of how to grow food, that just adds cost for us to be paid to CORPORATIONS, we don’t need that extra step/expense.

Just saying that in a free competitive market, schools will market their curricula, etc . to attract customers and the ones with the best curricula will attract the most business, etc.

Just want to see folks avoid the temptation of more central planning. Ultimately everyone can make a good case for all sorts of stuff. But I agree, and when rural communities hired teachers to educate their children, they certainly made sure that needed items were included.

You are speaking like some kind of GDP worshipper. How about allowing communities to decide their entire plan. Maybe make it a constitutional amendment to keep state and feds out.

Yeah, like that’s going to pass. The Constitution is in tatters now and has been for awhile. The left and communists are in control. That suggestion would be squashed, laughed and ridiculed before the last word left your mouth. I think people are still in cog dis about where we really are in this country. Some still talk about voting like its actually a viable option. The war has already started and we are losing badly.

It is hard to learn if you aren’t interested in things. And it is hard to be interested in things if all the time is just spent studying them. First you let the joy and inspiration happen and then learning will happen. And people will differentiate based on their interests, but they can all reach a high minimum level. You know, as long as they aren’t niggers.
The core competencies are wasted on small children who should be learning other things. It just wastes time, because those things are trivial for them a bit older and don’t take so long. Provided they have been challenged in other ways. There is always time for a small lesson.

At least that is my hippy opinion.

The benevolent school board gives each speaker 1 minute to make their point before cutting the microphone.

School board elections are probably the least voted for in any election cycle and it should be easy for a motivated group to take control of what their children are being taught. the left certainly has learned that trick.

Ed Zachary.

So a women goes into an Asian doctors office looking for an answer to her physical problems. He has her pull down her pants, get on all fours, and crawl first away from him and then towards him. When she is done, he tells her she has Ed Zachary disease. What is Ed Zachary disease she asks. Your face look Ed Zachary like your ass he says.

Crude, racially insensitive, and inappropriate. But it was the first thing that came to mind when I saw BL’s post.

…should be easy…

Clearly, TN, you don’t know with whom but what you are dealing. If you are right, where are all the stories of parent-voters taking back the public schools. In four months or a year, what victories will there be? There won’t be any. It will be no better than the last four months or the last year. Human nature, certainly away from your comfort zone, is not what you think it is. I look forward to your victories in the near future, or you did not grasp the latest analysis pieces by Admin and Uncola. The comprehension skills around here are mostly inadequate.

The problem is as a last resort the cure.

The enemy controlled the social framework of that communication. She and you are not winning. Timothy McVeigh would have been given capital punishment by that woman and many other ‘patriots’. These women-heroes have it all under control. We will expose the truff! *Sits on couch.* *Changes channel.* Damien Tarel is more a hero than a self-righteous breeder who thinks incorporated government will serve her. I question the association with Arthur C. and his ‘artifacts’, but Macron got a bigger message in one slap than the entirety of what the gillet jaunes communicated. But of course, this is no time to be a hero. It was borderline when Ruby Ridge happened. *Kisses it goodbye.*
