“Sad” hardly covers it. Devastating. She’s wasting away from the cancer. And she’s so young.
But, I’m sure God loves her. Very much. Has a wonderful plan for her life. Her suffering was known to God before she was even born. Being part of God’s plan is a wonderful thing. It’s a beautiful thing … that while her organs are being turned into mush by cancer, that we can praise Him for his goodness. Besides, she’s gonna get a huge mansion in heaven, so her current pain and suffering is all worth it.

Geneva isn’t up to walking. She says it is the heat, but I’ve noticed she rests more and more on the uphill part of our journey to the barn and back to the corner and back, which is about two miles and takes about 45 minutes to an hour but we are in no hurry.

Geneva lost Cody Bob to pancreatic cancer the night before last Easter Sunday. He told his son the previous Wednesday that the Lord was coming to get him Saturday, so they should plan to come and not wait until Mother’s Day.
He died after 11 p.m. Saturday night before Easter Sunday with all his children and grandchildren nearby, his wife at his side, down there at the foot of my hillside.
Last year, when I explained to her the role I believed Bill Gates played in this ordeal and what his longterm goals are, she told me we needed to pray for him.
