If Great Danes lived longer than 6-7 years, that would be my breed of choice, but alas, white shepherds are the only way to go.
Knew one that lived to 15 (36 inches at the shoulders 7’4″ on his hinds). Feed them well and give them a great place to live and run and they get way more than 6-7 years (though nothing like the smaller breeds).
