I have an old washing machine in the barn that we use to on heavily soiled clothes you wouldn’t put in the normal laundry. When it’s running a couple of pair of winter overalls through the cycle it develops a similar sound style, but at the end you’re not out any money, you’re still alive, and the overalls are ready to wear again.
