It is my sincere desire to provide readers of this site with the best unbiased information available, and a forum where it can be discussed openly, as our Founders intended. But it is not easy nor inexpensive to do so, especially when those who wish to prevent us from making the truth known, attack us without mercy on all fronts on a daily basis. So each time you visit the site, I would ask that you consider the value that you receive and have received from The Burning Platform and the community of which you are a vital part. I can't do it all alone, and I need your help and support to keep it alive. Please consider contributing an amount commensurate to the value that you receive from this site and community, or even by becoming a sustaining supporter through periodic contributions. There are NO “regulatory” agencies that serve the public interest. If something positive actually happens, its likely on accident. Much like the ICC that was first proposed and promoted by the big railroads at the end of the 1800s, EVERY agency is in place to prevent any one competitor from gaining an upper hand, to keep upstart competitors from ever getting a foothold, and to protect the cartel from the efforts of the public to get out from under their thumb.

The moral and constitutional obligations of our representatives in Washington are to protect our liberty, not coddle the world, precipitating no-win wars, while bringing bankruptcy and economic turmoil to our people.
— Ron Paul

Now I know how I came about this site in 2012. Interesting I was a Ron Paul supporter as well as 2010 Texas gubernatorial candidate Debra Medina and state legislator David Simpson. Paul and Medina were key in changing my thoughts about politics with references to Bastiat, F.A. Hayek and others. Of course the establishment republicOns would have nothing to do with truth or anything that would rock the boat of their political theory and dupe. I was often chastised in political discussion. All I can say is it is the supporters of establishment that are duped, not me. Debra Medina was destroyed in her gubernatorial campaign after actually climbing in polls. I suppose Mr. Good Hair , Governor Rick Perry was feeling the heat so finally after many attempts to be invited to Glenn Beck’s radio program that was at the time affiliated with Texas’ current Lt. Governor Dan Patrick , Medina was totally destroyed when she was invited to the talk show not to be asked what her plans were as governor but right off the bat asked about 911 when she replied she thought the “jury is still out on that”. Immediately in an obvious set up the Dallas Morning News reports that Medina is a “911 Truther”and there went her hopes for election. Frankly I’ve always thought the jury is still out on that deal and that is not saying Bush 43 did it! What a bunch of dung. And while knowing Ron Paul would never gain the office of the WH my support of established republicOns ended 2008. Until I became associated with Paul I was duped. Did he ever open my eyes and ears politically? Yes. It’s good thing Paul stood no chance so to speak for had he become president I have little doubt the man would have been physically harmed his first week in office.

Banking indeed. ….and I used to think those who attributed war to bankers were cranks.
