Everything You Need To Know About Sheeple

I’m a city boy. I don’t know Jack Sheet about sheep.  Except that they’re cute, and taste good.  And when I went to Catholic school as a young lad, that the wool pants itched like a MoFo.  Interesting stuff about sheep follows.

=============

Do people really act like sheep?

Are we going through our daily lives wandering with our heads down from one patch of grass to another looking for our next meal?

We have all heard the term “sheeple,” but do people really act like sheep?

Sheep will follow a leader—usually the sheep in front of them.  “When one member of the herd  decides to go somewhere, the rest of the flock usually follows, even if it is not a good ‘decision.’”

“A Judas goat is a trained goat used in general animal herding to associate with sheep or cattle, leading them to a specific destination.  In stockyards, a Judas goat will lead sheep to slaughter, while its own life is spared.”

“If one sheep jumps over a cliff, the others are likely to follow.  Even from birth, lambs are conditioned to follow the older members of the flock.  This instinct is “hard-wired” into sheep.  It’s not something they ‘think’ about.”

Sheep feel safer in numbers.  They are gregarious and usually stay together while grazing.  “In fact, a sheep will become highly agitated if it is separated from the group.  It is the banding together in large groups which protects sheep from predators which will go after the outliers in the flock.”

Sheep are social animals – this tendency is taken advantage of by sheep herders to move large numbers of sheep easily.  They are also prey animals.  When faced with danger, their instinct is to run, not confront their attacker.

“Some primitive sheep breeds may be able to more effectively evade predators, as their natural instincts are stronger.  Domesticated sheep have come to rely on man for protection from predators.”

In order to have a healthy flock, experts say your sheep may need to be culled for aesthetic, economic or other reasons.  You may not have enough pasture and need to reduce the size of the flock.  Overcrowding can lead to diseases which can affect them all.

Unproductive or underproductive animals need to be culled along with those with genetically undesirable traits such as poor appearance or susceptibility to disease.

Sheep to be culled are often marked to make identification easier

Old, thin animals that can no longer eat properly should also be culled.

Finally, you need to factor in the cost of keeping each animal, feeding costs, health care costs, and shelter capacity.

Sheep to be culled are often marked to make identification easier.

Despite these traits, research shows that sheep are not stupid.  They can find creative ways around obstacles, and remember each other’s faces and even faces of specific humans.  “Scientists at the University of Cambridge discovered that sheep have brain power to equal rodents, monkeys, and in some tests, humans.”

The instincts that are hard-wired into sheep make them easy to control in large groups.  They can be frightened to move in a specific direction and managed into pens with ever-narrowing sides.  Once they are restricted enough, they cannot turn around and must keep going the same way, even if it leads them to slaughter.

People can be manipulated just like sheep.  They can be frightened, herded, and culled

Of course, humans are not sheep, but like all mammals we do have instincts that were hard-wired through millions of years of evolution, including fear, anger, curiosity, jealousy, rivalry and sociability.

They are all essential to self-preservation – a person with no fear will quickly die from predators, curiosity leads to solutions to new problems, jealousy and rivalry involve success in groups.

Sociability is among the strongest instincts.  Being a member of a well-organized group is essential for survival.  Most people will go to extreme lengths to avoid being cast out from their group.  They will follow their leaders even if it means their own death.  The mass suicide at Jonestown is one such example.

Taking advantage of these human instincts means that people can be manipulated just like sheep.  They can be frightened, herded, and culled.

Would this justify “culling” the human “herd” to limit their impact on the planet?

But who would think of people this way?

They would have to see themselves as given the right to make decisions for others based on criteria only they know.

Do some of our leaders feel that the future of the human race is in peril if the resources of our planet are finite, or the long-term climate is in danger?  If so, would this justify “culling” the human “herd” to limit their impact on the planet?

Or do they think they are superior and their positions of power mean they can force others to serve their needs?  In 1998, George Soros said, ‘I have always harboured an exaggerated view of my self-importance,’ he wrote.   ‘To put it bluntly, I fancied myself as some kind of god or an economic reformer like Keynes, or, even better, like Einstein.”  (Stephen Fay, “Profile: George Soros: God Of All He Surveys,” The Independent [London], 5/17/98)

This life of power leads to a form of insane immorality, where rules of civilized behavior apply only to others.   This is why we saw videos of political leaders at fine restaurants with no masks while everyone else was quarantined eating TV dinners.   Scientists feel that it’s OK to fake data to reach their desired conclusions.   Governors can ignore their legislatures and act like dictators.”

Societies throughout history have had kings and serfs, masters and slaves

Most societies throughout history have had kings and serfs, masters and slaves.  Many slave owners considered them property to be culled and bred just like sheep.

Other societies determined that some ethnic groups were “less than human,” or threats to the genetic purity of the master race, leading to countless cases of genocide.

Do all humans have the same rights or should elites be able to use their wealth and power to manipulate them?

It is clear that techniques to mentally control large numbers of people by taking full advantage of human instincts have been developed to a fine art over the last fifty years.

Who are the people pulling our strings?  What is their ultimate goal?  Is it the Chinese Communist Party leaders wanting to rule the entire world in luxury served by slave labor?  Or is it the Globalists wanting to depopulate the earth so its beauty won’t be defiled by the masses – or a weird combination of the two, each hoping to off the other when the United States is disposed of?

The question that demands an answer from us all is “Can we, as beings with instinctive behaviors, become aware of how we are being manipulated by others?”

Or are we going through our daily lives wandering with our heads down from one patch of grass to another looking for our next meal?  Are we being frightened into moving in the same direction like a herd of sheep?  Will our desire to remain part of our social group lead us to take a potentially harmful vaccine?  Are we being manipulated into a rivalry against our fellow Americans to destroy ourselves from within?

Unless we can raise up our heads and realize what is being done to our country and the rest of the world, it may be too late to turn around.

Those universities people could have save lot’s of money had they read Francois Rabelais’s book: Gargantua and Pantagruel. In the one of the stories, Panurge a passenger of ship (not sheep) who felt cheated buys the greatest sheep (not ship) carried by the boat and throws into the sea. Guess what next. Francois Rabelais was writing in the XVI century.

Um, no… He doesn’t; and that should be comforting news. He does refer to Israel as sheep and flocks however. Where does Paul call us a lamb? He doesn’t; as a matter of fact, he raises us far above that status.

Romans 8:35-37 KJB… “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, (about Israel in Psalm 44:22…) For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things WE are MORE THAN conquerors through him that loved us.

“…we do have instincts that were hard-wired through millions of years of evolution…”

I don’t.

What’s the worst they can do; kill me, send me to be with my Lord? I welcome it.

Yes indeed. And with the calling of Paul!

1 Timothy 1:15-16 KJB… “This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief. Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.”

God began something entirely new with Paul. He revealed a secret kept since before the worlds beginning! A new creature was to be formed; the body of Christ!

I have somewhat softened my view on Paul from yours. I have less of a problem with him than the authority bestowed to him by others, and I know Pastor’s sound theological counter arguments, but Truth is Truth. Paul had specific problems and was trying to evangelize to some awful people. And not all of the epistles are written by him, it has just bene convenient to attribute them to him.

Jesus is the Good Shepherd and at the end of the Great Tribulation He will separate/judge those that survive and who will be allowed to enter His 1000 year millennial reign on earth.
He likens those that will enter as unto sheep.

Matthew 25:31-46
New American Standard Bible
The Judgment
31 “But when (A)the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, then (B)He will sit on His glorious throne. 32 And all the nations will be (C)gathered before Him; and He will separate them from one another, (D)just as the shepherd separates the sheep from the goats; 33 and He will put the sheep (E)on His right, but the goats (F)on the left.

34 “Then the King will say to those on His right, ‘Come, you who are blessed of My Father, (G)inherit the kingdom prepared for you (H)from the foundation of the world. 35 For (I)I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; (J)I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; 36 (K)naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you (L)visited Me; (M)I was in prison, and you came to Me.’ 37 Then the righteous will answer Him, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry, and feed You, or thirsty, and give You something to drink? 38 And when did we see You as a stranger, and invite You in, or naked, and clothe You? 39 And when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ 40 And (N)the King will answer and say to them, ‘Truly I say to you, (O)to the extent that you did it for one of the least of these brothers or sisters of Mine, you did it for Me.’

41 “Then He will also say to those on His left, ‘(P)Depart from Me, you accursed people, into the (Q)eternal fire which has been prepared for (R)the devil and his angels; 42 for I was hungry, and you gave Me nothing to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me nothing to drink; 43 I was a stranger, and you did not invite Me in; naked, and you did not clothe Me; sick, and in prison, and you did not visit Me.’ 44 Then they themselves also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry, or thirsty, or as a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not [a]take care of You?’ 45 Then He will answer them, ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did not do it for one of the least of these, you did not do it for Me, either.’ 46 These will go away into (S)eternal punishment, but the righteous into (T)eternal life.”

John 10:11-18
New American Standard Bible
11 “(A)I am the good shepherd; the good shepherd (B)lays down His life for the sheep. 12 He who is a hired hand, and not a (C)shepherd, who is not the owner of the sheep, sees the wolf coming, and leaves the sheep and flees; and the wolf snatches them and scatters the flock. 13 He flees because he is a hired hand and does not care about the sheep. 14 (D)I am the good shepherd, and (E)I know My own, and My own know Me, 15 just as (F)the Father knows Me and I know the Father; and (G)I lay down My life for the sheep. 16 And I have (H)other sheep that are not of this fold; I must bring them also, and they will listen to My voice; and they will become (I)one flock, with (J)one shepherd. 17 For this reason the Father loves Me, because I (K)lay down My life so that I may take it back. 18 (L)No one has taken it away from Me, but I (M)lay it down on My own. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it back. (N)This commandment I received from My Father.”

Stucky, I agree on not wanting to be a sheep. Spiritually, Christ is the Great Sheperd, therefore His followers are quite necessarily sheep. Sheep are dumb, smelly and generally stupid. (liberals). Now just for another fun thought in the same vein. Those who are saved are “the bride of Christ”. I have trouble seeing myself in a bridal gown. Just some food for thought here at the Christmas season.

Revelation 21:2 KJB… “And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.”
Revelation 21:9-10 KJB… “And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb’s wife. And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,”

Bride or Body of christ is just a term of position or submission to or under the Bridegroom, headship or authority of Jesus by His church.
It is in reference to the authority or headship of the husband over his wife in the marriage relationship.
No matter what the libtard american church tells us there is no such thing in God’s eyes as female headship or co-headship in a true christian marriage or Pastor, congregation relationship.

The glitz and glam of a gussied-up society full of distractions, abstractions and mind-altering chemicals holds no attraction for me. God, family and my little part of this planet are all I need.
Well, I do like rock and roll and fast cars, too…

Human beings are dualistic in nature, that is they contain the genetic material that drives both the inclination to be individuals as well as the drive to be a part of a larger collective. While the same exists in most domesticated animals, the vestiges of individual behavior in herd and flock type animals- the prey species- has been almost completely bred out of them. Human beings have a much more difficult time conforming to their status as domesticated animals, hence the reluctance of a significant portion of the public to resist the full court press they’ve been under for the last 2 years to take the jab for the greater good.

Humans cannot exist as atomized individuals without succumbing to all sorts of psychological and mental issue that arise from isolation. On the flip side no single discovery, invention, artistic creation or advance in any of the human fields were ever achieved by committee. These alone are the products of the individual.

And yes, anyone with moderate intelligence, an ability to recognize how human beings behave, and a motive to do so- with or without good intent- can manipulate the masses of common people as easily as a flock of sheep to their own ends.

Now for people. They said your instinct is to run or freeze. Overcoming instinct. Thoughtful training helps but you never really know how you’ll react until you’re in the position.

I’ve been thinking about how apt this video is. First, there’s a big chance these hikers didn’t know the true danger that could be there for them (on vacation) even perhaps after seeing YouTube’s of encounters. Or, yes but thinking it will never affect them.

Then they scattered but it seems the one guy knows not to run, but the others are and it’s pretty darn horrible so he’s waffling.

I think one correct way to handle this was to band together, hold your arms up and out so you appear larger than you are to the bear, but non threatening (a big point). Also if all had bear spray and were ready to deploy it this would be a huge advantage but the bear has to be close and it doesn’t work on all bears. . A gun is good and final…maybe. Guns aren’t allowed in national parks but you have to have a BIG gun usually for grizzlies and hit them in the right place or risk really pissing them off. However you can kill them with a bow and arrows, but it takes awhile for them to die, etc. which is very scary – I happen to know this.
Interesting to extrapolate to our current situation.

I’m glad they were all okay though, and most would agree.

>>>Guns aren’t allowed in national parks.

Some years back, Congress (I believe) authorized the carrying of firearms in national parks, with the same regs applied to in-park carry as are applied to local, out-of-park, carry.

FWIW I did witness an Alaskan grizzly charge a guy next to a beaver pond. The guy was holding a large revolver, and I was holding my breath: when the guy fired into the air, the bear broke off the charge and sashayed into the woods…. I suppose actually hitting the bear with a round would just piss him off.

Funny, because just a couple of days ago, as I was driving, I was flipping through radio channels and a sermon by a pastor came on, saying that no great accomplishment of humankind requiring originality has ever come from a group. He says that the Mona Lisa could not have been painted by committee, and encouraged all of us to be more true to ourselves.

I think humans are more like elephants. They thrive in a herd, but are also very smart, have a great memory and sometimes the whole group works for the benefit of an individual, not just the other way around, i.e. how they help orphaned calves or mourn the dead.

I would disagree.
Isolation and being alone are two different things.
There are trains of thought that view ‘isolation’ as a means of enlightenment.
There are those who just walk away, never realizing how long they will be gone.
http://aloneinthewilderness.com/
It is possible that the isolation you refer to is not the exclusion of other people, but the isolation of confinement.
That type of isolation tends to contribute to mental issues.

On the Tree fruit, wasn’t this an expression of agency/free will/autonomy and with the knowledge of god also comes the choice to reject Him? We live forever if we are truly alive through our connection with God and this is eternal once achieved. I think this means we know ourselves and are completely honest with ourselves. You know, taking 60 years or 10 years or whatever it takes to be an overnight success.

There are many more ways to skin the elites without an AK. I like to think of a traditional insurrection.

In WW2, when we were threatened by an invasion of the Teutonic hordes, my father in company with his platoon was ready to fight a guerilla war to the death, using clandestine tactics; such was the spirit of defiance. I suppose that Dads’ Army will again rise to the occasion when needed whilst the snowflakes cower in their ‘safe spaces’.
