I was at the Mall of America on Christmas Eve and there were very few white people there. Maybe 15%, tops. My guess is that most white people shop earlier. Also, most of the big posters on the walls in clothing stores, makeup stores, etc. are of “people of color”. No surprise there, but those displays also showed a lot more gays than I’ve ever noticed before. I was in a different mall the day before and the Sephora store had a big poster of two guys kissing.
Most all of the ads now are mixed race couples with mixed kids (father of color is the norm). Nothing wrong with the demographic, but the numbers cannot possibly match the percentages we’re seeing in commercials. When there is a white father, he’s normally a buffoon.
I had no problem with interracial marriage until recently. The new me says if you are white don’t even think about dating a nonwhite. I don’t care to be erased. The scapegoat outfit sucks, too.

Holy shit. I was just in a hotel and watched some TV. Nearly every ad featured a black prominently. Shocking.

I hadn’t had network TV for nearly 20 years when someone bought me a TV as a gift in Sept. The first thing that I noticed was that nearly all the commercials featured blacks first and foremost. I don’t watch a hell of a lot of TV, But from what I do watch, it’s pretty obvious there’s a panderfest going on. About 90% of the ads feature black people. Movies feature blacks a the strongest characters. Better yet; a black WOMAN. Better yet still, a LESBIAN black woman.

It’s not just there, here in The UK it’s even more blatant.
You have, what, 13-14% black? We have <2% (my small rural city of 250K people has, I kid you not, 6 black people total, two of them children) yet every film, TV series, show and advertisement shows them, you’d think it was 60% black, 25% Pakistani and 14% gay – the token white male normal is portrayed as both an incompetent boob and, at the same time, an evil genius controlling all.
