If it can be shown to be trustworthy, then it will have a place. But the MARKET should decide, not a bunch of clowns in suits or clowns in gowns. And it may work in some places and not in others. There is no requirement for a single solution.

Generally what decides what will work and what won’t is availability, ease of use and stability… I don’t see crypto being anything like this to date… a lot of flaws and ANY system built and dependent on electricity or software is prone to failure.
Assets that are tradable goods will have longer value retention than crypto. Crypto is fine in cities… but the further away from a city and I think you’re gonna find it difficult to transact with.
Whatever the free market wishes to create and accept (fraud obviously still being a crime). Gresham’s law will be working non-stop to drive crappy currencies out and make way for good currencies to be accepted. No central planner is needed. No central planner is ever needed. Elections will have absolutely zero credibility if we can’t address what happened in 2020. We just seemed to have swept that under the rug. Even local elections…lots of Soro’s money floods little ol’ local elections too. It’s how they’ve been able to destroy red states.

I haven’t heard whether Joe Rogan has commented about Neil Young. Neil Young is such a pussy-whipped little bitch, I would go off on him if I were Rogan, but hopefully Joe has the good sense to not even comment. Young is not even worth a breath of air after pushing for censorship like he did. His wife did her best acting in Clan of the Cave Bear when her only line was “ooga booga”. It always comes back to power, yet everyone keeps pretending that is must be something else, because deep down they WANT that power to be around for when they or the folks they elect, decide to oppress someone, regulate someone, steal from someone, murder someone, imprison someone, etc. for THEIR benefit. They always HOPE that the power never gets used against THEM, but they never can truly support abolishing the power lest they be forced someday to have to get someone to do something, pay for something, not do something, etc. VOLUNTARILY…..meaning they can say NO.
Demanding a government solution to anything means that in the end, you do not wish anyone to be allowed to say NO.
The ONLY way to end this cycle of abuse that we all suffer from, is to abolish government power, and replace it with the voluntary choices and cooperation of the not-always-perfect free market.

So…what happens when a monopoly forms out of this “not-always-perfect free market” and once again someone rises to power over others? In other words, I don’t believe there is really a true way to end the cycle of abuse. It’s who we are as humans.
With a marketplace of choices, how does someone create a monopoly? And just exactly how does someone “rise to power over others” if there is no government and people have the freedom to say no?
Didn’t we used to have a free-market system in this country a long, long time ago? How did a monopoly ever form if that was the case? Didn’t we used to have a Constitution that protected us from anyone rising to power? How did anyone ever get too much power under our Constitution?
