They probably started to calculate the chargeback costs that could hit them in the pocketbook. This little episode should cost them 1/2 or more of their business, but the normies will still send them money, expecting different results in the future.
Tim Pool was telling people on his show and via Twitter to go through their credit card companies for refunds to screw GFM out of the charge back fees, which would have been $10.00-$15.00 each, the next day they changed their refund policy.

In a digital transaction such as this why 7 -10 days for a refund. Were the contributions sent out the back door as they came in or ??? Just curiously asking.

The reason they and many retailers do this is because it amounts to a short term interest free loan.
Or, they don’t have the cash. They probably put it in CDs or some other instrument so they can’t refund such a large amount from their operating funds.
I understand why they do it, I just can’t believe it’s legal.
