America’s $30 Trillion Debt In One Stunning Visualization

via Zerohedge

Earlier today we reported that for the first time ever, total US debt surpassed $30 trillion, and rising exponentially because at this point there is no way on earth this number will ever be contained, let alone drop contrary to the naive dreams of clueless politicians:

Since these numbers are simply too big for most to comprehend, here is a helpful visualization for what we are talking about courtesy of Demonocracy.info.

And here again in video format:

I’ve gotten interested in these big “think tanks” that craft the thinking of the Corruptocrats and Politicrimals in our nation’s and, often, state capitals.

This fountain of economic research for policymakers has an interesting list of topics for discussion and consideration. If you look around, you might discover the sorts of idiots who believe breaking windows is good for the economy since it allows you to build back better.

https://cepr.org/

If you listen to this one, you will see where some of the malarkey is generated.

This one is proving interesting and relevant, as well. These are the “researchers” who feed our idiots in DC.

In 2007, CEPR launched its Policy Insight series.

Policy Insights are tightly argued policy essays aimed at economists working in governments, international organizations, the private sector, academics and the media.

The series encourages serious researchers to participate in the policy debate by reflecting on the policy implications that flow from their research, the research they read, and their general understanding of the world.

No need when everything becomes digital. The numbers can be infinite. Just a little card that says 100 trillion is your current balance and that gallon of gas will just cost you 100 million.

The length of a dollar bill is 6.14 inches. Laid end-to-end, 30 trillion dollars would be almost 3 Billion Miles. A big number, hard to visualize. Let’s go smaller.

The dollar bill is 0.0043 inches thick. A very small number (about the size of Llpoh’s weenie). One trillion dollars goes 631 miles … or, more than 350 miles higher than the International Space Station. $30 Trillion is 18,930 miles high.

This debt will never, ever be repaid. Therefore, debt is good. Think of it as a Free Shit Spigot. I believe we can cure poverty in America if we only increased our debt $100 trillion dollars per year. Every American could be a millionaire in the next 3 years. Why is no one in government giving me a phone call!!??

The higher the debt, the lower the real value of each dollar. Which means as the debt increases, the living standard of the average person goes down.

Gold, freedom•arkets, capitalism ~ photons of impersonal, & so salubrious & friend-able, emergent forces/mechanisms ~ would constrain all too personal divergent-misallocating-embezzling government dark forces.

So government was deployed by shrouded self-entitled interests (from outset & as always) to get rid of gold, freedom•arkets, capitalism – to rid people of their property in general by making people in general into property ever & ever more sophist-icatedly so.

That’s what citizen “clods of the continent,” are, have always been: property.

And democracy ~ people helping themselves to each other, backstopped, cuz gutless, by “force of law” ~ helped speed up this bottomless pitting.

Despite scribbles in the rancid-ransack constitution, putting money neath the auspices of government has never been anything but disastrous carnage everywhere & everywhen.

People who are wont to implore otherwise telegraph nothing so much as the lack of agency that is reality & the compulsive desire to “alchemize” that MIA/gency by “electing” agents “instead” despite the evidence that all they get from political/gov theatrics is the bottomless “agency problem.”

Fight Club Pogo’s enemy is Pogo.

There’s nuthin’ “out there” germ theorists. “In there’s” the un-drainable terrain from whence all the bubbles-bubbles-toils & troubles come.

Gold glows, while this lowest of the bottomlessly low resolution gov/fedres filaments don’t, didn’t, never will.

PM’s is money. Everything else is pretends, paper wadding incontinence in yer britches, dirty laundry lineage. “Money” done went meta, long time back. Virtual currencyality is the oozing, spurting, corrosive geyser from which all the rest of the schizophrenic nonsense emerges.

Dalrymple’s piece yesterday says that many librarians hate books. Mostly because they hate dealing with people who are interested in books. He writes about an archive on the subject of terrorists & terrorist organizations, a valuable trove that was bequeathed to a public university for safekeeping & future reference, that has “gone missing.”

Santayana makes remembering history seem like it’s simply a choice. But it isn’t. Any more than smart or stupid is a choice.

So redaction is projection. Redaction of narration by scribe-copyist-censor-gatekeepers, like those monk(ey)s in The Name of the Rose, is what most people, stupidly, are still engaged in to this day.

Money is burned in paper, books & archives are burned in fires(ales…sometimes), & per Heine, as Dalrymple also reminds, people continuously incinerate each other, too.
