Greatest —–> Donald Trump. Three reasons; 1) no new wars, 2) He built a wall (or, at least part of it), 3) he drained the swamp (or, at least he tried)

Worst —–> Dementia Joe. Over 1,000 reasons. (My favorite is #17: Dementia sucks DDD)

The best? Washington and Andrew Jackson. Creation of US, and destruction of National Bank…
The worst? Lincoln (civil war), and FDR (depression &WW 2), with about 20 or so close runner-ups….

IMO, you got one out of 3 correct. He did not start any new wars (although he did authorize some bombing runs in Syria). He did not build a wall. He had part of a wall built. And, to add, he did not ask for any funding to build that wall until the 3rd year of his presidency, when the republicans lost the house. He did not even try to get the funds in the lame duck session before Pelosi got the gavel again. After the dems had the house, and Pelosi got the gavel, he asks for money? Are you shitting me???

Draining the swamp? Not even close. All of his cabinet members were deep state actors. When he fired some of them, he replaced them with new deep state slimeballs.

Sorry buddy, I think you have more hopium on Trump the trojan horse than facts.

According to previous thumb widgiting here, Brewer, Trump support was around 75% “for” versus 25% “against” prior to his election in 2016. Then, it hovered around 50-50 toward the end of his term. Now, since the 2020 “election”, it looks like Trump support has dropped by half here on The Burning Platform.

Outcomes matter.

I see hundreds of Trump supporters on GETTR. And while he’s 1000x MORE Preferable to Ol’ Commie Joe & I voted for him in 2020, for just that reason __ Trump’s “great successes” were designed for the short term, to give him just enough popularity to win in 2020. And yet, he lost due to MASSIVE Election Fraud and CRIMINAL CONSPIRACIES.

Still, looking at long term effects from deals like the $4.8 trillion “Budget Bill” written to balance by 2035 & the sovereignty-killing USMCA negotiated by Obama holdovers, along with the FISA Reauthorization, Trump governed more like a Democrat than a Republican.

I’ll allow that he did put America’s enemies on notice, but he also violated the Bill of Rights, he’s No Conservative & Americans must stop electing the LESSER of Two Evils!

Conservative & Independent Americans’ consistent voting for the Lesser of Two Evils, RATHER THAN DEMANDING AMERICA’S BEST PEOPLE For Public Offices, IS PRECISELY WHAT HAS BROUGHT US TO THIS POINT, along with Massive Corruption in the States’ Election Process & the Electoral College.

Until our society’s people reject the current corrupt, immoral status quo running rampant across all our institutions & FIX IT SO A SIMILAR 2020 ELECTION STEAL CAN NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN, AMERICA’S SLIDE TO HER DEMISE WILL CONTINUE AT BREAK-KNECK SPEED.

America’s Good Men & Women MUST STAND NOW, STAND STRONG AND DEFEAT THOSE WHO SEEK TO IMPOSE A FOREIGN-FOUNDED MARXIST/MAOIST TYRANNY ON US ALL.

And if we can hold an honest election again, BE DAMNED CAREFUL Who You Nominate for Office.

President Trump was a Big Government, Big Spender who really didn’t properly understand the Constitution, especially our Bill of Rights, & although he did many fine things, his willingness to abrogate the 2nd Amend by suggesting foregoing “due process”, considering red flag laws and banning bumpstocks via executive orders, as well as violating the 4th Amend via HR76 and the FISA Reauthorization Act DISQUALIFIES Him for me as a 2024 contender.

YES. He Made CORPORATE AMERICA BUCKETS of CASH, But I Could Give a DAMNED LESS. At the same time, HE WAS CARELESS AND INEPT When It Came to PROPERLY DEFENDING INDIVIDUAL LIBERTY & All Americans Inalienable God-given Rights.

America needs a REAL LEADER who PRIORITIZES OUR RIGHTS OVER the Almighty $$$ & Corporate CEOs’ bonuses.

SURE> Plan to support Trump in 2024, if You really believe a man who allowed his daughter to push a Massive Socialist Program through legislation, and his son-in-law to subvert immigration policy, is the answer for America’s problems.

But rather than support a man who isn’t too far removed from the socialist world view, given his advocacy for the anti-American United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement, shouldn’t YOU be seeking a TRUE Freedom-Loving American who puts our Inalienable God-given Rights over handing Special Interests and Corporations deemed “too Big to Fail” more federal subsidies and Your hard-earned tax dollars?

When will America wake up and Nominate Men and Women of Integrity who will create a BETTER & LIMITED — LESS INTRUSIVE — Government?!!??

Bush abandoned the Free market in 2008 and propped up the economy by greenlighting Marxist Stimulus, which Obama used to a great extent.

Trump followed suit with more Communist economics, essentially propping up a Fascist Economy, by pumping $100 billion per day into the Repurchasing Markets from Sept 2019 ’til the economic collapse in March 2021, also pushing and signing massive spending bills.

And now, Biden and his Criminal Commies are UNHINGED in Their Demands for Trillions UPON TRILLIONs in New Spending to Pay Out to Their Supporters.

ORDINARY AMERICANS DON’T BENEFIT FROM THIS IN THE LONG TERM, I.E. MASSIVE HYPER-INFLATION/ STAGNATION.

No Business Is “TOO BIG TO FAIL” — That’s Why We Created the BANKRUPTCY CODES.

Kill the Fed! Kill FASCISM!

I don’t care if You support Donald Trump or not for the 2024 presidential candidate. But, what is disturbing is witnessing so many Americans blindly following anyone, when one person won’t be America’s salvation.

It’s going to take us all fighting harder than we’ve ever fought before, because as You saw, Trump faced a Deep State that included the entire Dem Party PLUS RINOs in his own party, and try as mightily as he may have, HE STILL FAILED, in some part due to his own unforced errors.

In my estimation of things, we won’t restore America in even the most remote sense of the word, without first fighting another FULL BLOWN HOT Civil War, because the opponents we face today want nothing less than the complete destruction of Our Founding.

America doesn’t need a failed leader like Trump, who saw the handwriting on the wall regarding Mail-In ballots and Did Not Act Proactively to Stop the Election Theft; he waited until the election was done, when he should have been activating the Justice Department to ensure everything was above board. He should have immediately sued State Registrars who were arbitrarily changing state election law by ILLEGAL diktat and edict.

In part, Trump has himself to blame for his loss.

We need a leader with an almost prescient state of mind, who cannot be controlled or manipulated by the Deep State actors, due to his own integrity and knowledge of his Constitutional authorities as president [something Trump seemed oblivious to at times]. A leader who promotes Good over Evil.

Vote for Trump in 2024 if You wish. I’m waiting for the person who can actually assemble a Great Team able to defeat the Democratic Party Communists & ferret out & DESTROY the DEEP STATE TRAITORS.

This won’t get done by voting for pro-Trump Candidates, a large portion of which support our current fascist debt-based economic system, the status quo. You saw Republicans fail to repeal Obamacare; you’ve seen Democrats eat Republicans’ for lunch over the past five years, even when Repubs were the majority under Trump. The usual Republican & RINO we see time and again isn’t fighting for You and me and freedom — they’re fighting for their Wallets.

STOP VOTING PARTY AND START VOTING FOR CANDIDATES WITH A KNOWN & PROVEN RECORD OF DEFENDING INDIVIDUAL LIBERTY!

It’s hard to miss the fact that President Donald Trump REALLY DOES LOVE AMERICA.

Maybe he’s learned the hard lessons of being prepared & having as much information at hand as possible to be able to neutralize & arrest traitors, where necessary. He was too trusting when he first entered office, thinking his opposition were people who also loved America, and it handicapped him in his ability to effectively carry out his presidential duties in the early months.

If so, he might do alright if he can pull off the win in 2024.

I’m just not crazy about seeing more domestic TRUMPISM that brings More Big Government, More Big Spending — even if it’s Repubs doing it — & more assaults on the Bill of Rights that are either his doing or go unanswered due to his uncertainty and lack of Constitutional literacy.

And then there’s this. Regardless of how one sees Trump’s stand on the issues and his past policies and the bills he signed, it’s hard as hell not to like him when he says things, such as this quote from his recent rally in Texas:

“If I run and if I win, we will treat those people from January 6th fairly. And if it requires pardons, we will give them pardons because they are being treated so unfairly.” ~ {still} President Donald J. Trump

Yes … and then there is that, theOtherDan. I was mainly just throwing thoughts out that day without really putting in a whole lot of deep thought. But I’m still trying to see if he greatest portion of our society can’t ultimately be persuaded to arrive at a truly peaceful resolution of our many differences on many issues.

And ultimately, as I have often written in the past, we have become too divided into two completely different camps, holding totally antithetical worldviews from one another, and so long as the Democratic Party keeps embracing Marx and Mao and committed to ending our Founding in their agenda to fundamentally transform America into an authoritarian socialist state, our nation will remain on its greased zip line descent to a full blown hot civil war — a war we had better fight with all that’s in us and everything at our disposal to ensure the Forces of Truth, Life, Freedom and Liberty emerge victorious from the other side of the smoke, fire and chaos, left only to cart away the dead carcasses of the red, radical Democratic Party Commie Rat Bastards.

I’m with You, Dan. I just still like to fantasize from time to time that there might really be a peaceful path ahead. But that won’t come, short of the people having a mass epiphany or a miracle from God.

Don’t believe for a minute he would pardon anyone except some ferrules his jewess daughter and sloped head son in law approved of. He should have sought the council of his sons, not his daughter. Nothing against daughters, it just says a lot about him.

Thanks Norman! I agree with You, especially concerning Ivanka and Jared who are as socialist/globalist as they come. Ivanka influence Daddy to spend Big on the Child Care Act, another UNSUSTAINABLE Big Govt Welfare Program and Jared undermined Trump’s immigration policy the duration of his term.

It is a great puzzle as to why he didn’t seek his sons’ input on policy more than he did, but there’s no telling what was going on behind the scenes. I know Jared held a lot of influence, perhaps because he was all in for the money, and although Trump wasn’t taking his salary, maybe Jared, a billionaire in his own right, was greasing the rails elsewhere for Trump … just speculation given some of the business deals that ended up in Jared’s pocket.

I’m just looking to the day the biggest portion of this country actually does come together, through anger, shared misery, an awakening among them, under one strong leader or several to rain down a hot wrath and violence carried out with extreme prejudice against the traitors to America and these Commies, as if God’s vengeance and their Day of Reckoning had arrived.

Best president? Thomas Jefferson. He had red hair and he said stuff like this…..

“I predict future happiness for Americans, if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.”

“Honesty is the first chapter of the book wisdom.”
― Thomas Jefferson

“The legitimate powers of government extend to such acts only as are injurious to others. It does me no injury for my neighbor to say there are twenty gods or no god. It neither picks my pocket nor breaks my leg.”
― Thomas Jefferson

“The man who reads nothing at all is better educated than the man who reads nothing but newspapers.”
― Thomas Jefferson

“I sincerely believe that banking establishments are more dangerous than standing armies, and that the principle of spending money to be paid by posterity, under the name of funding, is but swindling futurity on a large scale.”

I actually had the occasion to meet Ol’ Billy at the Silver Wings Restaurant at the Nashville Int’l Airport back in 1976 [or was it ’77]. Had a bit of conversation and a beer with him at the bar, and then he reached in his travel bag and pulled out a sample can of “Billy Beer” and gave it to me … HAhaHahaha … He was far from bright, but a lot of laughs — just a memory from days gone by.

Operation Eagle Claw … DAMN! … Those poor Delta Boys didn’t know what they had bitten off ’til it was past late. It seems like only yesterday America watched it all play out. I tend to lean toward Andrew Jackson (I am a distant relative of his wife Rachel) for his fight against the banks, his support of the common man and his no-nonsense way of dealing with issues. The downside is his threat to use the military against SC if they tried to secede and his removal of the Indians from their ancestral lands.

0bama was certainly the worst for his “fundamental transformation” of the country. The current administration is his 3rd term, even though not elected.

Even though Jackson uprooted the Cherokee, putting them on the “trail of tears”, he WAS fairly liberal about allowing them to take their property with them. That’s why there’s a slave graveyard in OKC.

The descendants of the Cherokees’ negro slaves were mostly considered tribal members until the age of indian casinos dawned with the attendant disbursement of profit sharing amongst tribal members. Then it became no coons allowed.

The greatest was Calvin Coolidge. Ole silent Cal didn’t do much. He didn’t muddy the waters. No ego. He left the people alone.
The worst was Abraham Lincoln. Lincoln’s war simply centralized governmental power. He paved the way for the govt we have today. He was a liar and a murderous tyrant. Thank God for John Wilkes Booth.

I would join you in lauding John Wilkes Boothe, but the fact of the matter is, he was an actor, and the entire “assassination” was faked.

It amazes me how people can overlook the first, most in-your-face clue that it was faked: It happened inside a theater! And we won’t talk about how, since this was in a time of war, that the Secret Service somehow allowed Boothe access to the President’s box; does that sound logical?

And if that doesn’t sway you, consider this: the entire audience there consisted of high-ranking military officers and they were all armed, at least with swords, back then. Yet Boothe was allowed to hobble right out the front door with no resistance from these officers. You’d think maybe one or two of them might have thought to stop the man who just shot the President — not only that, but who had jumped down from the President’s box onto the stage floor, whilst holding a knife no less, then clearly shouted SIC SEMPER TYRANNIS! and then ran right out the front door.

Only in America…

In all actuality, Lincoln was a dead man either way. He would not have survived another term, and so he had to go out with a bang. Several surgeons throughout the intervening years have stated Lincoln had cancer just based on photos taken of him back then.

JW Booth who killed Lincoln did not burn in a barn; he escaped covered in a wagon driven by someone else; then assumed another name and lived out his life as a normal person in a Missouri town (I think it was there) and he either provided positive proof just before he died or his survivors did just after. 3. FDR
4. Bush Jr.
5. LBJ
The last 2 are, perhaps, interchangeable.

I don’t know who the best was but, Warren Harding should be in the top 5 or so. He was scapegoated as being responsible for the Great Depression however, he exhibited many constitutionally correct decisions and believed in the people, not the government.
JFK (even though he was a democrat) had more conservatism in him than today’s republicans — and I’m not even counting the RINO’s. He tried to end the Fed and to greatly curtail or dismantle the CIA. This got him killed, I believe.
He was fiscally responsible even if he was too socially liberal.

The worst? The current faux POTUS, Oblahblah & the Peanut Farmer. Trump may actually be the worst if we find out for absolute certainty that he is the Trojan Horse, divide the conservatives and religious right, that we think he is and, the father of the killer shot.

Anthony Aaron

JFK also did the 2 things that got him assassinated: he wanted to go after israel for its nuclear weapons program that was solely the product of israeli operatives/supporters stealing both the necessary weapons designs from US labs as well as their stealing the weapons-grade fissionable materials to actually make those weapons; he also told his brother, RFK, the Attorney General at the time, to go after AIPAC and all of the other pro-israel/pro-zionist PACs and make them file the appropriate reports under the 1938 Foreign Agents Registration Act.

These 2 items were what got JFK (and, likely, RFK) assassinated. It’s interesting that one of LBJ’s first acts as POTUS after JFK’s assassination was to tell RFK to end the pursuit of the FARA law against the PACs as JFK had ordered.

And, of course, it was LBJ who assisted the israelis in their attack on the USS Liberty … by telling the US Fleet in the Mediterranean to stand down from coming to the assistance of the Liberty …

BL… just read this, really. Reagan and Trump were both what one might call “populist” presidents, elected by their appeal to the populace over the electorate. Reagan is the “greatest” president in my memory because I grew up in that malaise Jimmy Carter noticed and/or caused.

At one time I had a college folder with 42 reports on forty three different presidents and their administration, assigned to 21 students as a midterm in a polisci class. It was an undergrad class, but the majority of them were quite interesting, telling when, where, background and major policy changes due to them.

I pitched them a few years ago, but reread them before they went. Some of them were gems.

Trump was a long term DEM liberal who attended every DEM convention til he did a 180 to remake himself around 2008. Both are actors and nothing but actors playing their biggest role. Both populists BECAUSE they told the great unwashed what they wanted to hear/believe. Suckers……

At least the sheep were happy, secure and very much patriotic and still loved the red, white and blue when Ronnie was in the oval office. Just look at the Canuck’s pride waving those big leaf flags Mags….IT STILL MEANS SOMETHING. They love their country. Who’s the archetype of the Antichrist in the Bible?

NIMROD the Tower Builder.

Daniel 7:20

And of the ten horns that were in his head, and of the other which came up, and before whom three fell; even of that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spake very great things, whose look was more stout than his fellows…

“…very great things…” is translated from the Aramaic word RABRABAN, literally, GREAT GREAT…

Christ names him in John 14:30.

His tower on 5th Avenue has the 666 architecturally incorporated into the ENTIRE front of the tower in the inverted triangle:

washington loses a couple of points for giving so much influence to hamilton at the very crucial first moments of the newly formed government. the camel got its nose under the edge of the tent, as they say. adams and jefferson tried to drive out the enemy, but it was not enough. after that the bankers got their bank, and it took jackson (otherwise a questionable character) to kill the bank (a first rate heroic fight on the side of good) decades later. had not the hamilton faction had so much support from washington, would they have managed to allow the congress to adopt the states’ revolutionary war debts? would they have allowed the congress to emit bills of credit, which the constitution had forbidden to the several states? would they not have made even more explicit the ‘shall not make any thing other than gold or silver coin a money’ applying also tot he federal government? that would have likely made it a lot harder for a bank to ever be established, and probably even blocked the formation of the federal reserve. babylon would not have so easily relocated its headquarters from london to new york as the fading british empire was eclipsed by the even greater american industrial power – instead probably babylon would have tried fighting a war of anihilation against america, which at that time, late 19th cent/early 20th, given the basic reality of america’s enormous energy and resource abundance, would have resulted in a conclusive defeat of babylon at a time when american ideals were still commonly understood and upheld among the majority of the population. instead america became babylon’s greatest enforcer and was muscled into sacrificing even herself at babylon’s altar.

in conclusion, i reaffirm my vote for jefferson.

I truly admire Dwight D. Eisenhower for his true leadership in World War II and his foresight in creating the Interstate Highway system and other accomplishments he made while US president but he is the president who unleashed the CIA upon the land, mismanaged the Executive response to Brown vs Board in a way that prevented immediate redress of grievance fairly won.

Great general but a terrible president.

I also truly admired Reagan, but for mostly for his being a non-political politician. He had great charisma, I believe, because he had great character and judgment. He wasn’t always a good judge of character though, was he? He delegated authority perhaps too easily and is probably most responsible for allowing the military industrial complex to assume great power by elevating the Veterans Administration into his cabinet, creating another new funding stream parallel and somewhat merged with Defense spending. No wonder they had to get rid of building seven.

The bureaucracy gained great power under Reagan. And, we all know that power once seized is hard to pry back. It has to be taken by force.

Don’t even bring up Oliver North.

Calvin Coolidge. Most president that we revere had plenty of good points, but they also made some disastrous errors, even Washington. IMO, Coolidge had the most positives and the least erroneous negatives. The only 2 things I can cite him for was 1) not putting an end to the horrible things Wilson had done prior (Prohibition, income tax, Big Govt crap) and 2) not running for a3rd term – had he done that, he likely would have handled the 29 crash far better than the idiot Hoover, and we likely wouldn’t have had the commie-loving FDR. Think of how the world would have been altered had he run again, and he likely wouldnt have died at such an early age: no depression era BS, and he & his successors may have stopped Germany before it got rolling, and certainly wouldn’t have given eastern Europe to Stalin. Things to ponder…

Andrew Jackson — he absolutely destroyed the Second Bank of the United States and the push for centralized banking in America in his time. But unfortunately, years later, Fools arose who pushed ahead with his folly, placing the control of our currency under the auspice of private bankers in what we now know as “The Federal Reserve Bank”. Jackson was trying to preserve freedom, but in 1913, Wilson made certain all Americans would be controlled by Fed policy, massive debt and the Revenuers of da IRS, crooked-nosed bastards that they were.

If they let him through the patio door to the Oval Orifice, it’s purely for theatrical purposes.

That might work. They can give Joey a magnetic presidential seal to slap on the door of his Uber.

Or they could just shuttle him around in one of these:

Lincoln’s 2d term was fake, he didn’t even want to run, and only massive vote fraud kept him in office..

Jefferson Davis , by a country mile.

“The principle for which we contend is bound to reassert it’s self, though it may be at another time and in another form.”
President Jefferson Davis, C.S.A.

“Nothing fills me with deeper sadness than to see a Southern man apologizing for the defense we made of our inheritance. Our cause was so just, so sacred, that had I known all that has come to pass, had I known what was to be inflicted upon me, all that my country was to suffer, all that our posterity was to endure, I would do it all over again.”
President Jefferson Davis, C.S.A.

“…the contest is not over, the strife is not ended. It has only entered upon a new and enlarged arena.”
President Jefferson Davis, C.S.A., address to the Mississippi legislature in 1881.

“We feel that our cause is just and holy; we protest solemnly in the face of mankind that we desire peace at any sacrifice save that of honour and independence; we ask no conquest, no aggrandizement, no concession of any kind from the States with which we were lately confederated; all we ask is to be let alone; that those who never held power over us shall not now attempt our subjugation by arms.”
President Jefferson Davis, C.S.A. – 29 April 1861

Best- Hands down Andrew Jackson, The man took on the First Bank of the US and beat them. Can you imagine a President today with the stones to take on the Fed and abolish it? Andrew Jackson made this a free country From the mid 1830s up to 1913 when the bankers took it over again.

Worst-That is a tough one as it is more or less a three way tie. Wilson for allowing the Federal Reserve and the income tax act. and the other between FDR and Truman. Between the 2 of them they instituted corporate run socialism and the Military Industrial Complex. We are all now just slaves to those institutions.

Greatest?–clearly George Washington…Worst?–Abe Lincoln, who got more than 10% of the American population killed (many by starvation) and destroyed 20 years of GDP to enforce an abusive Tariff…Andrew Jackson, Tom Jefferson, James Monroe, and Calvin Coolidge also very good…

You have lots of company here when it comes to G.W.

Culled from little-known Masonic texts of the 1800s and early 1900s, the “Illustrated Masonic Secrets of America’s Founding Fathers” is a must-read for any Freemason or person curious about the Masonic ties of George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, Paul Revere, John Sullivan and Joseph Warren. Read how the Freemasons set the cornerstones of the U.S. Capitol, Washington D.C., the Boston State House, the Washington Monument, and the Bunker Hill Monument. Learn the true story behind George Washington’s Temple of Virtue and Society of Cincinnati. View the Masonic apron of George Washington given to him by General Lafayette of France. How did the Masonic Grand Lodges get formed in America? What item of George Washington’s is contained in the Masonic golden urn fashioned by Paul Revere? Learn about Benjamin Franklin’s Society of the Free and Easy and why his first publication was the Constitution of Freemasonry. George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, Paul Revere, John Sullivan and Joseph Warren were not just Freemasons, but Grand Master Masons. Read the true “Illustrated Masonic Secrets of America’s Founding Fathers” and discover a whole new perspective on the designs of America.

Greatest – William Henry Harrison. And why, you might ask? Simple – he died after about a month in office before he could mess the country up more than it is! Wish they’d all do that!

Worst? Anyone after JFK, except Reagan. Oh, and throw in FDR, Woodrow Wilson, and Teddy Roosevelt for good measure. Then again, Lincoln was an absolute tyrant who forced the South to stay in the union when they should have been left alone and directed his generals (Sherman, etc.) to commit war crimes. Perhaps he was the worst. He certainly doesn’t deserve to be on Mt Rushmore (and neither does Teddy).

Greatest…tie, Andy Jackson & Grover Cleveland. The latter did more to heal the wounds of the War of Yankee Aggression. And was a true Jeffersonian.

Worst…hey, Dementia Joe has 3 more years. Can’t judge yet. Tie again…Woody Wilson & LBJ. Woody – WWI involvement, the Fed created & direct election of the Senate. Plus could have pushed back against the Volstead Act, which created the Mafia nationwide.

LBJ started this whole welfare state crap. Obummer is simply a legacy of that.

Grover Cleveland and his veto pen are #1 on my list. The Texas Seed Bill is the example all presidents should follow.

I know Trump and Reagan are going to get a majority of the votes here, but I’d like to put in a word for James K. Polk. Most notably he expanded the size of the country more than every other president (I’m aware of Mr. Jefferson’s acquisition of Louisiana). Our military also fought a won a significant victory against Mexico during his administration, but his avoidance of war in the Pacific Northwest reveals a great deal of courage and political wisdom.

Here’s the list of my five worst presidents:
Obama/Biden
Carter
Wilson
FDR
Teddy Roosevelt

Outside of Carter, they’re all progressives…hmmmm.

The worst President, IMO, was Abraham Lincoln. Responsible(more than anyone else) for the deaths of 600,000 to 650,000 Americans, many disabled, had newspapers shuttered, editors locked up, had the Maryland state legislature locked up before it could vote to secede(some who spent the duration of the war locked up and never charged with a crime), suspended habeas corpus, refused to meet with a delegation from South Carolina on three occasions to discuss a peaceful solution, blockaded Southern ports(an act of war), supported Sherman and Grant’s devastating plunder, destruction(resulted in raping and pillaging), and much more. He would have been tried as a war criminal had the North not won the war. What other President was more destructive?
