I’ve discovered that people who are not adverse to work and inquiry, rational thought, are the very people who are ultimately ungovernable.
People who a generally lazy in work and inquiry are the ones that are the lazy go-along sheep happily lead to their penning and ultimately their demise.
Then theres just plain obstinate people like myself, that when told what to do, my response is ‘Good luck with that, now piss off’…
But you likely fall into category 1, so you are not in any new category. I would bet that most folks in category 1 share your sentiments.

I kinda miss the mask mandates, because defying them and
all the Karen scolds was so enjoyable.
You forgot at least one variation; people who are not adverse to work, yet lazy in inquiry. The worker bees. My parents are examples of this demise category. The epitome of working harder not smarter. I think most people are this way.
Therefore, I think your theory needs to simply eliminate the word “work” altogether, unless you’re referring to mental work.
Then again, I’ve met a lot of stupid people that are basically ungovernable too. Maybe it’s simply spirit that defines ungovernable.
Just refuse to go along. Learn to say no.
