My wife just got over a nasty flu. Now I’ve got it.
Elderberry juice or elderberry wine is reported to lessen the severity and duration of Flu illness. I now keep bottles of capsules containing dried elderberry juice that I ordered on line, but unfortunately didn’t have it the last time I had the Flu.
I have also been informed that Theraflu contains elderberry juice extract, is available over the counter at pharmacies & grocery stores, and reportedly is effective against the Flu. Never tried it, though. Wish I had remembered the last time I had the Flu, but I was so sick I couldn’t think straight.
