I read somewhere about 6 months ago that the US gov’t was stocking up on food. Around the same time China told its citizens to stock up. I believe they’re trying to create a shortage in order to ration food. Of course for most of the people they’ll only be able to get it from the gov’t and will have to do whatever the gov’t tells them. Something like what happened in Venezuela.

This was not mentioned in any related article I came across, but fits the agenda to a ‘T’ from all that the Regime is foisting on us.
