Fleetwood Mac’s eponymous album … great tracks include Rhiannon, Landslide …
Heart’s ‘Dreamboat Annie’ … great tracks include Matic Man, Crazy on You and the title song, Dreamboat Annie … https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL0EA655F84614CF0D
Pink Floyd’s ‘Wish You Were Here’ had Shine on You Crazy Diamond (Parts 1-7 and 6-9), Wish You Were Here and Welcome to the Machine …
How about a somewhat overlooked song by Pink Floyd?
Now how about a totally OVERLOOKED BAND that played PROTO-____ ?!

Wow, who ever heard of that group of youths from Detroit nail that kind of music pretty much before that genre was even a thing??
got to be the album of the year. when the needle dropped you weren’t getting up until the side was over
Love Karen Carpenter…
The Carpenter song was for you
Many thanks…
Before 75 but she was great to a young teen
Thank God we have left the 80’s(for the time being)!
Here is Tull’s Minstrel In the Gallery live, though recorded in 76(this version)came out in 1975.
I saw this tour a few times as a 13 year old fan.
Anything Martin Barre
James,
I put this here for you. I assume you like AC/DC. Btw, guess who’s touring together this year…Whitesnake and Scorpions.

Uh Glock,as mentioned on page 2 I put that up at lunchtime, guess it is now here 3 times!I always loved Bonns voice but as I mentioned when I saw em back up another band at time did not know who they were.
I am a huge Scorpions fan,saw at Hampton Beach Casino where I saw Tesla both nights(great fucking shows)noticed Whitesnake playing there solo, not really a fan of them as Coverdale fucked over some of his original band members.
There is nothing worse then traitors when you are in a band,I know!
May though catch Scorpions one final time, drink in the bar during Whitesnake!
I never did get to an AC/DC concert. Big mistake.
Eh,Brians hearing is back, the boys may actually do it one more time, they do,no excuses,go!
I saw em with Brian about 9 times starting with BIB tour.
Released in 1975. Best video I could find.
How about this classic from Sweet,Fox On The Run.
I saw them in 1977 with Ritchie Blakmores Rainbow(Dio singing)Atlanta Rhymn Session and show closer Foghat, great friggin show!
Now that is a show. Probably somewhat affordable. Nowadays that would be $250 for nose bleed seats.
And for the cocaine disco crowd:
Hmmmmm…..,howz about this gem from AC-DC,LonG Way To The Top:

I saw em with Boon back in the day as a backup band, didn’t know their music at time, damn shame as Bonn was a great singer, next time I saw em was Back In Black, recorded in memory or Bonn.
I was having lunch, tis all for now but will add later more classics from that year,a good time in rock and roll history!
Tennille is super gorgeous glowing and shining in this one!!!
AAArrrrggghhh!!
Released in 74 but got a lot of airplay in 75. Same with BTO’s “Ain’t Seen Nothing Yet” but I can honestly say I never got tired of hearing this one…
1975 song of the year Love will keep us together , written by Neil Sedaka, sung by The Captain and Toni Tennille. Other top five Glen Campbell’s Rhinestone Cowboy, Elton John’s Philadelphia Freedom, Freddie Fender (the Tex Mex) Before the Next Teardrop Falls, Frankie Valli’s My Eyes Adored You…75 probably had the most diverse songs and talents of any time in history, country, disco coming on, Rock and pop legends who made comebacks… was a great year to graduate from high school………….
1975 in 10 minutes and 41 seconds
Can you believe the horrible things she paid a butcher to do to her face? What a beautiful woman she was.
There were some great “story” songs in the 1970s. Thanks for mentioning this one.
