TUESDAY TUNES – TIME IS RUNNING OUT & THE MUSIC OF A FOURTH TURNING
The following is an oldie but goodie post I wrote back in 2013 after attending a Muse/Cage The Elephant concert. Today’s post is dedicated to songs with a Fourth Turning message.
TIME IS RUNNING OUT

I finished my latest article at about 4:30 pm on Monday afternoon. I was mentally drained and kind of depressed by my conclusions. But, no time for that. I was taking the family to the Muse/Cage the Elephant concert at the Wells Fargo Center in Philly. I was going to see two of my favorite bands for the price of one. We had good seats on the lower level. I love powerful rock and roll with powerful lyrics. These two bands fit the bill. Cage the Elephant went on at 7:00 and gave a fantastic high octane performance. Their front man – Matt Shultz is a young Mick Jagger on stage. He dances aroung like a freaking maniac, crowd surfs, and gives every song the max. TUESDAY TUNES – THE RAMONES
Saw these guys at the Chestnut Cabaret in October 1986, it was a great concert.

TUESDAY TUNES – JACKSON BROWNE
Submitted by Suds
I read somewhere once, in the early years of their careers, Glenn Frey was in the same living complex out west with Jackson Browne. Frey said to keep your eyes on JB, as his work is very promising.
I like how his band is tight, with their skills. Frequently hear crisp talent with their timing and instruments. Always good, meaningful lyrics.
If not mistaken, him and Darryl Hannah were once an item. Wonder whatever happened to her?
Here’s a few of my faves:
TUESDAY TUNES – THE KING
TUESDAY TUNES – 80s ONE-HIT WONDERS
Remember any of these?
TUESDAY TUNES – SONGS OF SEPTEMBER AND END OF SUMMER

TUESDAY TUNES – THE ALAN PARSONS PROJECT

The dude looks like Wolfman Jack, LOL, but, I think Alan Parsons is underrated.
The guy produced Dark Side of the Moon, and Abbey Road albums, and
The Project has these eight songs that I think are worthy tunes from our generational era.
TUESDAY TUNES – SUMMER SHORE SONGS
Some songs that remind me, for whatever reason, of summer fun at the Jersey Shore – and summertime in general.
