The following is an oldie but goodie post I wrote back in 2013 after attending a Muse/Cage The Elephant concert. Today’s post is dedicated to songs with a Fourth Turning message.

I finished my latest article at about 4:30 pm on Monday afternoon. I was mentally drained and kind of depressed by my conclusions. But, no time for that. I was taking the family to the Muse/Cage the Elephant concert at the Wells Fargo Center in Philly. I was going to see two of my favorite bands for the price of one. We had good seats on the lower level. I love powerful rock and roll with powerful lyrics. These two bands fit the bill. Cage the Elephant went on at 7:00 and gave a fantastic high octane performance. Their front man – Matt Shultz is a young Mick Jagger on stage. He dances aroung like a freaking maniac, crowd surfs, and gives every song the max. Their fantastic songs Ain’t No Rest For the Wicked (basis for one of my previous articles), Back Against the Wall, and Shake me Down set the tone for the evening. TUESDAY TUNES – JACKSON BROWNE

I read somewhere once, in the early years of their careers, Glenn Frey was in the same living complex out west with Jackson Browne. Frey said to keep your eyes on JB, as his work is very promising.

I like how his band is tight, with their skills. Frequently hear crisp talent with their timing and instruments. Always good, meaningful lyrics.
If not mistaken, him and Darryl Hannah were once an item. Wonder whatever happened to her?

The dude looks like Wolfman Jack, LOL, but, I think Alan Parsons is underrated.
The guy produced Dark Side of the Moon, and Abbey Road albums, and
The Project has these eight songs that I think are worthy tunes from our generational era.
