The dude looks like Wolfman Jack, LOL, but, I think Alan Parsons is underrated.
The guy produced Dark Side of the Moon, and Abbey Road albums, and
The Project has these eight songs that I think are worthy tunes from our generational era.

Thanks, Suds. Alan is one of my all time favorites. Another good one
He is scheduled to be in Denver 11/11/22.
Are you from Denver?
No, but we have kids/grands and great grands in the metro area.

Got the wife to help her students study Edgar Poe by making them listen to this:
Still my fav and I still have the original LP
Love this album! Just now listened to the whole thing, haven’t heard it in 40 plus years!
I can’t listen to these now, but I like (Pschobabble, Sterioctomy(sp) and lucifer).
I love Alan Parsons, so have one correction to make: he produced neither album mentioned above, he instead was the sound engineer (Abbey Road was his first credit, actually).
This is my favorite APP song:
I stand corrected, and will therefore drink a beer in humble appreciation.
Obvious, Cap’n
Great Tuesday submission, Sudsy! Thanks.
Thanks bud. Appreciate ya.
My all time fav group!! Thanks.
No wonder that FF rocks!!!
They’re definitely time travelers IMHO
I played an original song for Alan once. I was at a record release party in Hollywood and a friend of mine whose album he produced liked my song and pulled Alan over to the grand piano and told me to play it. I was barely aware of his history and it’s just a blur.
I think I have all, or nearly all, his albums? Might have missed one or two – but this one does it for me: the curse of compulsive gambling made melodic –
Nice selections, my man! Our generation indeed
Alan Parsons
The Moody Blues
Jeff Wayne’s “War of the Worlds”
Does anybody really need anything more for their musical entertainment?
Edit: Listening to “Tales of Mystery and Imagination (Edgar Allan Poe)” as posted by Georges S, and hearing Orson Welles’ distinctive narration, I was instantly reminded of Jeff Wayne’s awesome original production as heard on the double LP masterpiece CBS records released in 1978. Justin Hayward, of the Moody Blues, has filled the shoes of Richard Burton’s journalist role in that production in its present incarnation.
