I liked Petty’s tunes except dancing with dead people is rather bizarre IMO.
I was never one to keep up with the tabloids what celebrities were doing. I think I recall the Beatles being arrested for cannabis possession.
In 1985 I very well could have been sitting around the campfire ring at the back of the saloon in Luckenbach , Texas listening to locals strum guitars and telling old tales along with a mug of excellent draft beer brewed not far away in Blanco , Texas. I guess I was into my “own thing” and that was not tabloid gossip. So actually this is new to me. May Tom RIP.
