I, the Anon original poster, never liked him. I always suspected him. His manner in interviews seemed off. Also, being a true libertarian (small “l”; anti-state), I knew that he believed that a state could make humanity freer. Liberty and state are antithetical, by definition.

I wouldn’t have an issue with a flat tax of 10%. The govt would have more money in the end because it would eliminate most of the tax dept parasites, fewer people would feel the need to cheat and the process would be simple, easy.
BUT… like everything govt that flat tax of 10% would creep to 12%, then 15 then…. on and on. Because people will bend over and keep paying the extortion fees beyond the 10%. because fear of the govt is now reality for the vast majority of people.
How about zero “tax”? Tax is a euphemism for “theft”. There is no “fair” theft. Percentages aren’t the issue.
So who is going to organize the maintenance of the highways?? Represent our trades with foreign countries??

I was a shop steward in the IWA, sawmill, and heard all the BS from the ‘business agents’, on why we needed a strike in mid november They wanted us stewards to go back to our lines and sell the membership on a strike.
I wasn’t prepared to do that. I would not and refused to go back and try to convince fellas it was in their best interest to strike for $0.15 raise and some insignificant perks while their family, most with kids, would have a very tight Christmas or no Christmas. Not surprisingly, there were some union zombies there that were quite willing to do this too, to their own kids.
In the end, I was relieved of my shop steward duties because I called both sides out on their brain dead douche-baggedness. The icing was when the IWA sent us nice letters and a couple hundred dollars that said, oh sorry. We made a bad investment and all your pension is gone… good luck. And, no one of those assholes lost their jobs, but I’m pretty sure their personal bank accts to a nice boost.
Sadly over time everything is corrupted, It’s what we humans do best.

What works better is not using Giggle for anything. Still not convinced? Try this experiment:
Google search climate change. Back in the day Google would show how many results (they did away with that I guess) and it was something like 1.3billion and that seems plausible. Now, with that search scroll all the way to the bottom. Show more and keep scrolling. Don’t worry you wont have billions of results to scroll through. Show more, scroll, show more, scroll. When you reach the end, and you will, you will have something like 306 results. With the option to include omitted results. Go ahead, include those and repeat. Get to the bottom. When you are done the number will go up to something like 400ish results.
So, one of the most discussed topics of the time being searched on what could be argued by some, the king of internet searches yields 400 results. Kind of a let down wouldn’t you say? Keep in mind this is by design. Those 400 results are presented with bias to push an agenda for the “good of the people”.
Most will never notice because they believe Google to be an authority when it comes to all things internet and don’t really ever scroll any deeper than the first few results. Google is a CIA product built and presented with the understanding that information is true power.
I created my own search tool SearXNG @ fgiggle.com which is a privacy respecting, open meta search engine. And for those hard to reach areas I use Yandex.
Type “white couples” into Yandex. View images. Compare to Google. They’re the same.
