No other day is consumed with more specious, idiotic and dangerous bullshit than on memorial day where slaughter and warmongers are lionized. The only war for freedom in this country was the American Revolution. All the rest served some master.

Oh, yes, and Lee Greenwood is a yellow bastard.

My sentiments exactly. I have zero respect for anyone who willingly decides to ‘serve’ the scum of the earth, especially when you have the recent Vietnam and Afghanistan debacles of horror having zero to do with American freedom as examples of what kind of institution you’re really serving. That said, the innocent eyes I see of 18 years olds who get sucked in and used and find themselves trapped and being barked at by psychopaths in murder, degradation and mind control hell then thrown away breaks my heart.

Q. How many guns do you need for a firefight?

A. Two. One for US troops to shoot and one the United States sells the enemy so he can shoot back at us.

No matter ones thoughts on the insanity of war those who served in the military did so in the belief they were serving the country and it’s citizens.

Today is a day to remember ALL who died in the insanity of war and respect their sacrifices even if they were sacrifices in vain.

Hopefully we can one day look at all who died in the insanity of war and perhaps avoid wars in the future, that would be the best way to remember fallen soldiers.

NO. That’s keeping the wrong game alive. Time to stop giving anyone a pass and glaringly condemn these practices instead. This trickery won’t lose it’s power of luring more vulnerables led to ‘believe they’re serving their country’ until we get louder about it all and stop making excuses for any of them and especially totally quit ‘honoring’ any of it.

“belief” … key word … to the cell door lock.
