Russia Boasts It’s Already Taken Out 4 US-Supplied Long Range Rocket Systems

Via ZeroHedge

Russia’s military has announced that it destroyed four of the High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS) rocket launchers that the United States recently supplied to the Ukrainian army. It said this occurred in various places on the battlefield over the past three weeks. The Kremlin boasted it took out the launchers in “high precision” strikes.

“High-precision strikes with land- and air-based missiles destroyed four HIMARS multiple rocket launch systems and one ammunition and reloading vehicle between July 5 and July 20,” General Igor Konashenkov, spokesman for the defense ministry, said Friday.

Further detailing the Russian MoD statements, state media detailed that “Two of the launchers were destroyed near the settlement of Malotaranovka, south of Kramatorsk. Another, alongside the support vehicle, was destroyed near Krasnoarmeysk – known in Ukraine as Pokrovsk.”

And further, “The final one was destroyed on the eastern outskirts of Konstantinovka, the Defense Ministry specified. All three locations are on territory claimed by the Donetsk People’s Republic but under the control of Ukrainian troops.”

Western officials are deeply skeptical of the claim given the Russian military statement coincided with the White House announcing yet another major security package for Ukraine, including an additional four more HIMARS systems. The $270 million weapons package, which marks the 16th security aid package to Kiev, also includes over 500 tactical drones.

Commander of the Joint Chiefs Mark Milley indicated this past week that 12 HIMARS have been successfully delivered to Ukraine’s military, which brings the total pledged by the US to 16.

The Russian claim hasn’t been independently verified, with the Ukrainians and many Western pundits dismissing it as Russian “propaganda” intentionally timed to warn the US on the occasion of Biden’s approving a new round of weapons.

Ukrainian leaders have called the longer range systems, capable of hitting targets 50 miles away, a “game-changer” and have urged for Washington to provide more. Pentagon spokesman John Kirby, meanwhile, said Friday there is intense discussion underway about providing the Ukrainians with fighter jets, possibly from allies or the US itself – which is also looking at initiating a training program for Ukrainian pilots.

He did say that?
Then why would he write this last month?

Russia’s “Special Military Operation”, which began on Feb. 24, is entering its fourth month. Despite stiffer than expected Ukrainian resistance (bolstered by billions of dollars of western military assistance and accurate, real-time battlefield intelligence by the U.S. and other NATO members) Russia is winning the war on the ground, and in a big way.

After more than ninety days of incessant Ukrainian propaganda, echoed mindlessly by a complicit western mainstream media that extolls the battlefield successes of the Ukrainian armed forces and the alleged incompetence of the Russian military, the Russians are on the cusp of achieving the stated goal of its operation, namely the liberation of the newly independent Donbass Republics of Lugansk and Donetsk, which Russia recognized two days before its invasion.

While i dont follow Mr. Ritter, if i were to hazard a guess, it all depends on who is paying him at the given moment. It’s a pattern with discredited people who keep hoping you foret why they were discredited.

the reason they find the location of the systems is that the civilians in the area inform the Russians. They prefer Russians over the Ukrainians. Also the deep state was quick to say the Odessa “grain silo” strike was by the Russians to starve people, but they hit a missile storage and military ship in the port, probably being hidden among commercial shipping vessels. Video supports the Russian statement. Too many fucking lying media/propagandists in this war as the unfortunate civilians and children receive the blunt of the suffering.

This is interesting if true. I have suspected that the HIMARS systems are being operated covertly by US troops. I could be wrong but I don’t think this is a turnkey system where you just hand the Ukies the manual and wish them luck.

If the Russians overrun one of these and capture US troops, I wonder how Vlad will respond.

If Russia holds those US troops as prisoners of war, I also wonder how Biden’s puppet master will respond.

Could get interesting.

I believe that mercenaries/foreign fighters are not covered by the Geneva convention and can be summarily executed. Could get real interesting.

I takes a minimum of 3 men to operate the HIMARS.
If they took out 3, 9 US soldiers at a minimum were killed.
Most likely far more as they must be training others.
I wonder what they ill tell the families,?
We aren’t suppose to be there.

…or two dozen other places. As a WHINSEC connected boss once told me circa 2006, “the American people have no need to know where the U.S. military is fighting, all wins and losses should be classified.” I said, democracies don’t work that way. He laughed a knowing laugh.

For previous Syrian ops, if they can recover the remains, they will send bags to Landstuhl Army Medical Center, Germany and declare training mishap, deepest condolences. Here’s a flag for your trouble.

Good info on HIMARS, didn’t know that.

The US has casualties constantly from illegal wars they deny they are involved in. About 30-40 I believe. They have this down pat.

Logistical nightmares for the Ukrainian army

The unified NATO standard is mainly associated with the calibers of ammunition, and not with the unification of equipment. It is impossible to switch from the German “Leopard” to the French “Leclerc” without a long and serious preparation. A good MRLS operator, used to the Soviet-designed Grad, will not be able to handle America’s famous HIMARS. Each weapon system handed over to Kyiv also requires special retraining of Ukrainian military specialists. And this is just the tip of the iceberg though.

The delivery of one or two self-propelled guns with perfectly trained crews may look good in propaganda videos, but it turns into a logistical nightmare for the Ukrainian military suppliers. Full-fledged confrontation with the enemy requires units trained and equipped with unified weapons, not a battery recruited from different European and Soviet models using five different types of shells. All of them need different parts and accessories. Moreover, gun and tank crews will most likely be unable to replace each other. They are trained to fight with different models of high-tech weapons systems…

Hard times are coming for HIMARS

A battery of S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems arrived from Crimea in the Kherson region – with the task of defending the Antonovsky Bridge. On July 21, the Ukrainians tried two new platoons. Again with long-range rockets that American satellites and Avax guide to the target. But the S-400 intercepted and shot down all 12 missiles launched.

Thus, the S-400 reduced to zero the American myth that the missiles of their multi-barrel rocket launchers are uncatchable (undefeatable). This is a hint that more and more new S-400 systems will arrive in Ukraine in the coming days. To close the sky over strategic objects under Russian control and over ongoing operations. At the same time, the Russian army began serious preparations for the complete destruction of HIMARS.

Russia boasts (while pointing and laughing)….

Russia ridicules Biden’s trans and non-binary appointees

Russia’s United Nations diplomat Dmitry Polyanskiy also reposted a photo of Levine and Brinton with the caption: “Keep going that way, our dear American ex-partners! I don’t think we even need any long-term strategies to counter your malicious role in the world – you are doing the right thing yourselves! And let the whole world see WhoYouAre!”

The reality is that Russia is gaining knowledge and skills in defeating NATO weapons systems, while its Officers and enlisted men sharpen their skills against NATO tactics. All the while gaining Ukrainian territory, and crippling Europe economically.
Russia, China, Iran, and South Korea are sharing this information and strengthening ties. South American countries long abused by the US are sympathetic to Russia and refuse to side with NATO indicating that they are leaning in the direction of future alliance.
The stupidity of the US and Europe can only be exceeded by their corruption and contempt for anyone and anything that does not bow down to their feudalism.
