Gab Received A Letter From Congress Today

Via Gab

Today Gab received the letter below from Congress. We weren’t going to publicize it, but given that the Committee went to the press before we did there’s no point pretending that we didn’t get it.

We are considering our response to the House Oversight Committee.

For the rest of you, know that we cooperate with law enforcement regularly on public safety matters and we never comment on non-public communications with law enforcement, even when it would be convenient to do so for public relations purposes, such as today or in any response to Congress we may choose to send at a later date.

We will add one thing for the public and the media to chew on in the meantime, given that the relevant case is now public. The House’s letter makes reference to a Gab user who posted threats against law enforcement on our platform. The implication of the letter is that we are somehow complicit in those threats. The posts in question were made on or about August 11th and an arrest was made on August 15th.

In that case, as the now-public affidavit supporting the arrest warrant states, we received an emergency data request for the subject through our law enforcement disclosure portal at 6:10 PM on August 11th. We responded at 6:10 (i.e., within one minute) to inform the FBI the issue was being actioned. Responsive records were provided to the FBI by 8:20 PM, or 130 minutes later.

We know for a fact that this is orders of magnitude faster responding to law enforcement than companies like Twitter and Facebook, on whose platforms far more threats against law enforcement – and far more hate, pornography, and other unpleasantness – can be found. Just yesterday for example a man was arrested and found with “buckets of human organs and skin” which he purchased on Facebook.

We don’t scream about how seriously we take public safety. We don’t publicize it. We don’t use it to make political statements. We just do the work, try to be as responsible a corporate citizen as we can, and provide all lawful assistance to law enforcement as efficiently as we can given that Gab is a small business with limited resources. We like to think we do a good job at this.

We would recommend that the members of the Committee call up their friends over at the DOJ to verify our bona fides. In the meantime, as we consider our formal response, for all the commentators out there who have been calling for Gab to be shut down for years on end, just because you don’t know about the public safety work we do doesn’t mean it isn’t happening.

Sharyl Attkisson reveals how low the FBI will go

Not only did the FBI remotely control the electronic devices in her house, they planned to plant child porn in her husband’s computer as yet another dirty/discrediting op. She first discovered the takeover of her computers when a PC tower in her bedroom would begin to go into high-speed hard-drive-spinning “whirrr mode” at oh-dark-thirty for long periods of time. If the PC tower had been in an office and not near her bed, and she had not heard it and had it checked out independently, she would have never known. Yes folks, the Wokestapo can completely take over your computers and devices from outside your house, including planting “top secret” files [or child porn] inside them so they can later arrest you. This was the plan for Attkisson. The FBI planted T/S files in her computer, and if she had not had it inspected, she would have been arrested for illegally possessing them. It’s all in her book, “Stonewalled.”]

Another case in point….

FBI Agent Pleads Guilty to Destroying Evidence to Frame Pro-Trump Political Prisoner

“In a plea deal filed Wednesday, a former FBI agent pleaded guilty to paying a business to “wipe” his computer to make the hard drive unavailable for forensic examination.

According to court documents, former agent Robert Cessario was charged with “corrupt destruction of record in an official proceeding” in connection to the corruption trial of former state Sen. Jon Woods of Springdale.

In the plea deal, Cessario stated: “I erased the contents of the computer hard knowing that the court has ordered that the computer be submitted for a forensic examination. I did so with the intention of making the contents of the computer’s hard unavailable for forensic examination. At the time, I knew that the contents of the hard drive were relevant to an official proceeding, that is, Cause No. 5:17-CR-50010, United States v. Woods et al.

How did this impact the case?

JON WOODS STILL SITS IN PRISON EVEN THOUGH THE CORRUPT DOJ AND CORRUPT FBI HAVE NOW ADMITTED THEY FRAMED AN INNOCENT MAN BY DESTROYING EVIDENCE.

The Court has known about the illegal destruction of evidence the entire time. Woods’ appeal to the 8th Circuit of Appeals before appellate judges Jane Kelly, an Obama appointee, Michael J. Melloy, a Bush Sr. appointee, and Jonathan A. Kobes, a Trump appointee, case# 18-3057 on October 16, 2020, was denied even though the appellate court knew that the FBI destroyed relevant evidence on purpose.

It’s a misnomer. Not being used in proper context. Leave it say, it’s an undercover agent trying to trick you into thinking their on your side and all the while plotting against you. The net is crawling with this vermin. I’ve gotten to the point where I just don’t care.

It seems the left has finally declared a kinetic war on the right. Look beyond the flunkies in the ABC agencies and set your focus on those who are giving and supporting the orders to use these flunkies as an army to arrest or kill those that disagree with them. They are targeting Americans of conservative ideals, this is a declared war by any other name.

I deleted my Gab account a few days ago, not because I post anything related to violence, but because I don’t trust Andrew Torba not to throw me under the bus as the definitions of violence change. Words mean whatever they say they mean, these days. Some think being offended is the same as violence. Torba is bending over backwards for .gov when he should be demanding warrants and subpoenas. His strategy is a proven failure.

Yup, no matter how much he genuflects or tries to be the good boy, they’re going to shut his ass down regardless. Make them work for it at least instead of just caving to illegal and illegitimate orders.

I read all 9 pages of the letter from the oversight committee. Amazing and chilling. They are demanding that gab become basically a tattle tail on gab users to law enforcement and start policing posts and removing ones the committee does not like – censorship. Poor gab.

I understand that occasionally there are bad people who do bad things. When that happens and a valid law enforcement agency asks, it makes sense that gab would assist them with info they might have.

I am glad I don’t have to write the letter back to the committee.

Congress would not be writing letters like this if they were not thoroughly under the thumb of Jewish power. If a lot of people on Gab were not constantly naming the jew, they would not about the rest of the content. They are also aware that countering the narratives is a danger to all of them in the long run.

Puppets and muppets live in constant fear. That’s why it pays for most of them to be psychopaths.

If the “Government” is in full defensive mode against its own population, I’d guess…and I’m NOT a “professional”…that they’re hiding something they KNOW is worth killing them all over.

Why else would they want to disarm us?

This alleged “public safety work” sounds like the operations of the “Committee of Public Safety” and the “reign of terror” during the French Revolution:

“Within six months, the Committee of Public Safety was dominated by radicals. Under their control, the Committee began to operate autonomously from the legislature. By late 1793, the Committee was directing the National Convention rather than acting on its behalf… The Committee’s descent into authoritarianism began with the election of Robespierre to the CPS in July 1793… By December, the CPS was not just politically powerful, it could swiftly silence its opposition. The Convention then handed the Committee de facto executive power and acquiesced in the committee’s draconian measures such as surveillance committees, preventive detention, and controls on civil liberties, seen as necessary to ‘secure the republic’.”
