Amazon Accused of Selling ‘Suicide Kits’ to Teenagers in New Lawsuit
According to the lawsuit, when users went to purchase sodium nitrite, a food preservative that in high doses can end someone’s life, Amazon would recommend they buy a scale to measure the dose, an anti-vomiting drug, and Amazon’s edition of a handbook on assisted suicide.

Railroad Workers Reject Latest Contract Offer, Increasing Strike Fears
A major railroad workers union rejected a contract proposal broker by President Biden, citing crucial staff shortages and the inability to get time off even in the case of emergencies. Failure to come to an agreement has heightened fears of an industry-wide strike among railroad workers, a development that could bring the nation’s supply chain to a halt.
Give them 100% time off and hire better replacement employees at about half the pay . It worked for the Air Traffic Controllers and the Florida East Coast RR when their liberal Union workers went incorrigible lazy and stupid.
That is exactly what you do not want to do. Part of the problem with our broken system right now is because of going for cheaper labor and diversity hires, exacerbated by intentionally poor educational standards. Getting cheaper labor used to be doable, because there were capable people out there willing to work, just to have a job; that’s changed now. (I mean, really, do you feel comfortable replacing a 20-year vet, who knows what he’s doing inside and out, especially in a crucial industry, with Keyontae or Pedro over there?)
The whole problem is caused by the government, who now wants to ride in and save the day when it suits them, as always with a “solution.” They’ve fucked up the supply chain on purpose, and these guys are sick of not being able to do their jobs, that’s what’s going on here.
