India Opines On The Russia-404 War

Not sure how much trade we do with India. Do we need them? Not sure how powerful their military is.  Do we need them? I generally don’t give a rat’s ass about India stuff.  But, I do know that a nation of 1.3 billion people carries weight in international affairs. I also believe we consider them a valuable ally.  But … how do they feel about us at this point in time? We still  BFF?

A war Russia set to win

By MK Bhadrakumar / Former Ambassador

Two massive terrorist strikes misfired spectacularly and a terrible beauty is born in the Ukraine war. These two carefully planned attacks in quick succession — on Nord Stream gas pipelines and Crimean Bridge — were intended as a knockout blow to Russia. According to President Vladimir Putin, people ‘who want to finally sever ties between Russia and the EU, weaken Europe’ are behind the Nord Stream blasts. He named the US, Ukraine and Poland as ‘beneficiaries’.

Last Wednesday, Russia’s domestic intelligence service FSB identified Ukraine’s military intelligence chief, Kyrylo Budanov, as the mastermind behind the Crimean attack. The New York Times and Washington Post also pointed fingers at Kiev, quoting ‘sources’. While Nord Stream-1 has been crippled, one of the strings of Nord Stream-2 remains intact. Putin said last week that the pipeline could be restored and Russia could deliver about 27 billion cubic metres of gas. ‘The ball is on the side of the European Union, if they want — let’s turn on the tap,’ he said.

But mum’s the word from Brussels. It is a profoundly embarrassing moment for the EU. The triumphalism has vanished as Europe is threatened by years of recession caused by the blowback from sanctions against Russia, where the US insisted on the cut off of energy ties with Moscow. The EU has now become a captive market for Big Oil and is left to buy LNG from the US at the asking price, which is six to seven times higher than the domestic price in the US. (Contracted price for long-term Russian supply for Germany used to be about $280 per 1,000 cubic metres as against the current market price hovering around $2,000.)

Plainly put, the Europeans have been nicely played by the Americans. India should take note of the US’ sense of entitlement. Basically, the Biden administration created a contrived energy crisis whose real aim is war profiteering.

The Crimean Bridge attack of October 8 is much more serious. Zelenskyy has crossed a red line that Moscow had repeatedly warned him against. Putin has disclosed that there have also been three terrorist attacks against the Kursk NPP. Russians will settle for nothing less than the ouster of the Zelenskyy regime.

Russia’s retaliation against Ukraine’s ‘critical infrastructure’, something Moscow refrained from so far, has serious implications. Since October 9, Russia has begun systematically targeting Ukraine’s power system and railways. Noted Russian military expert Vladislav Shurygin told Izvestia that if this tempo was kept up for a week or so, it ‘will disrupt the entire logistics of the Ukrainian military — system for transporting personnel, military equipment, ammunition, related cargo, as well as the functioning of military and repair plants.’

The Americans are cocooned in a surreal world of their self-serving narrative that Russia ‘lost’ the war. In the real world, though, Ivan Tertel, KGB chief in Belarus, who has an insider view of Moscow, said last Tuesday that with Russia boosting its troop strength in the war zone — 3 lakh troops who have been mobilized plus 70,000 volunteers — and the deployment of advanced weaponry, ‘the military operation will enter a key phase. According to our estimates, a turning point will come in the period from November of this year to February of next year.’

Policy-makers and strategists in Delhi should make a careful note of the timeline. The bottom line is, Russia is looking for an all-out victory and will not settle for anything less than a friendly government in Kiev. Western politicians, including Biden, understand that there is nothing stopping the Russians now. The US’ weapon kitty is running dry as Kiev keeps asking for more.

When asked whether he’d meet Biden at the G20 in Bali, Putin derisively remarked on Friday, ‘He (Biden) should be asked whether he is ready to hold such negotiations with me or not. To be honest, I don’t see any need, by and large. There is no platform for any negotiations for the time being.’

However, Washington has not yet thrown in the towel and the Biden administration remains obsessed with exhausting the Russian military — even at the cost of Ukraine’s destruction. And, for the Russians too, there is still much to be worked out on the battlefield: the oppressed Russian populations in Odessa (which suffered unspeakable atrocities from the neo-Nazis), Mykolaiv, Zaporizhya, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkov are expecting ‘liberation’. It’s a highly emotive issue for Russia. Again, the overarching agenda of ‘demilitarisation’ and ‘denazification’ of Ukraine must be taken to its logical conclusion.

When all that is over, Putin knows Biden will not even want to meet him. Hungarian PM Viktor Orban said last week, ‘Anyone who seriously believes that the war can be ended through Russian-Ukrainian negotiations lives in another world. Reality looks different. In reality, such issues can only be discussed between Washington and Moscow. Today, Ukraine is able to fight only because it receives military assistance from the United States…

‘At the same time, I do not see President Biden as the person who would really be suitable for such serious negotiations. President Biden has gone too far. Suffice it to recall his statements to Russian President Putin.’

India should expect the defeat of the US and NATO, which completes the transition to a multipolar world order. Sadly, Indian elites are yet to purge their ‘unipolar predicament’. Europe, including Britain, is devastated and there is palpable discontent over the US’s ‘transatlantic leadership’. Indo-Pacific strategy is hopelessly adrift. New power centres are emerging in India’s extended neighbourhood, as the OPEC’s rebuff to Washington shows. A profound adjustment is needed in the Indian strategic calculus.

India’s most important export is Indians.

Search Internet for “Top Ten Best Indian Grocery Stores in Bellevue, WA”

And more of them in Seattle. I imagine Silicon Valley has a bunch.

At least they are productive.

India is the I in BRICS, Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa. BRICS lead the charge for a multi-polar world, i.e., against the one world new order. India soon will have the largest population, is a huge buyer of gold, has nukes and recently signed deals for Russian gas not using the dollar. Pretty important place I would say.

India has 1,455,000 active military, has 2 aircraft carriers, several nuke powered subs and an airfoce of MIGs and Mirage planes. 23 million people turn 18 every year if you need to add some recruits.

US runs a $25 Billion trade deficit annually with India, pharma products, diamonds and fish products.

India is a perfect example of what our country will be someday: An ensconced ruling Elite, and those who serve them. All others, who are not of their system — what would be our middle-class — are left to fend for themselves. Imagine that in such a densely-populated, mostly-landlocked area. That’s what Indians have to deal with, even those with lots of education.

The Indians (and Nepalese) who own convenience stores around me are hardworking, genuine people who are happy to be given this opportunity. They take care of their families and their communities. I treat them like I would any other person who is working and taking advantage of what’s left of the American Dream.™

What we ought to do is send our non-workers for some of theirs, and then see what India has to say.

The U.S. is very unlike India and will not be like India ever. India is resource poor and over-populated. It’s rivers come out of the Himalayas. China controls that area and disputes between the two countries keeps both on a continuous war footing. The U.S. is resource rich, is not densely populated, has water courses throughout the country under its own control (other than weather), has a constitution, and is not threatened by its neighbors. And much more that makes the U.S. unlike India. Indians who come to the U.S. are at the top of the heap when it comes to annual income. That fact drives many of the most able citizens of India to leave that country for this one. Who emigrates to India?

I should have used the /s tag on my opening statement.

This is my point: they are fleeing their country because there is nothing there for them. Those who can are going where it is more stable.

Then they actually get here, and see it’s all been lies on all sides. Saying it will not ever be like that here is being optimistic, I think.

It’s also been shown that they bring that caste system here — including when they bring their personal slaves with them …

It happens more often than either they or we will admit …

Nordstream attack and the Crimean bridge attack were not terrorist acts. The killing of Russian soldiers in training was not a terrorist attack. They were acts of war designed to reduce the fighting capability of the enemy. There is no moral rectitude in this war as far as I can tell. There are people going to die until one or both sides can’t fight any more. Not right just the way it has always been.

There is an agenda against Germany just as there is against Russia — and it’s driven by the same folks … and those same folks just so happen to perennially be in control of United States foreign policy and military policy.

For the last 60 years the US Govt. has bought friendship of various countries via foreign aid. How could things possibly go wrong with that? A couple of examples can be found in Egypt and India. ’nuff said.

Foreign aid is expensive. It’s cheaper and more effective to just threaten and bribe rulers. Like the way the US recently bought off Pakistani members of parliament to have Imran Khan thrown out of office because he wouldn’t forgo Russian oil.

“Not sure how much trade we do with India. Do we need them?”

Who is we?
The U.S. is made up of 2 classes. The current pedo/homo/satanic regime along with their drones
AND
then the rest of the folks who basically like freedom and or want to be left alone to live their life.

That is really it.

If you are in the second group then I would not worry too much about India as they are one of many countries looking to distance themselves from satan.

Now the real question you should be asking… is Russia going to defeat the WEF/U.S. controlled west?

I have got good and bad news for you:
Russia has a good shot of stopping the complete WEF/U.S. takeover of the world and thus preventing the whole world from entering into a demonic hell hole with one world government.

Now the bad news. When a control freak starts to lose their control it generally does not end well. So expect the U.S. to turn it’s anger and wrath on it’s own citizens. You can count on it.

Stucky- India has walked the tightrope of staying off the shit list with both Russia and the US. India , unlike the US, has the interest of their citizens at heart. Outsourcing jobs to India has lifted many up from poverty and they have benefited greatly from trade with America. OTOH, they have enjoyed cheap (discounted) oil/NG from Russia since the 404 war began.

India regulars whipped the Chinese on the border months ago without busting a sweat. They have no love lost for China which is OK by me. Their army is very adequate for the money they have to spend on defense.

Did environmental work for an Apu back in the late 90s. They (and the Koreans) got 2%, 20 yr amort loans for C-Stores, while whites have to beg the SBA or BoA for higher interest, shorter term loans.

BTW, the C-Store biz is dominated by highly leveraged entities. (e.g.., Wawa, QuikTrip, Sheetz, Scotchman, Speedway, et al (in the SE & MId-ATL USA)). Been a petro marketer (76-89) and an enviro consultant since then (with a finance undergrad & MBA).

The end is near. Within the next year, many stores will be bankrupt & shuttered. Sh*t will ensue.

A bigger question: do we really, REALLY need all of them here working under bogus H1B visas — taking jobs from US Citizens at reduced pay?

They’re certainly not all that thankful to be here in the United States … and any of them I’ve noted in US politics seem to be very radical leftists … and who needs more of them when we’ve got so many homegrown ones?

Same with china …
