Say what you want about Elon Musk but he is one of the few prominent rich guys that produces results. I live out in the country in flyover USA and until I switched to Starlink, I had slow and unreliable internet. The local phone company which took every government handout they could find could never do any better than 10/1 DSL. Viasat was faster at 30/10 but the latency was never better than 750ms. I signed up as soon as I could and 6 months later they sent an email that my hardware was available and was I still interested and I sent them the rest of the money for the hardware and 3 weeks later it arrived, was a simple setup and I’ve been enjoying around an average of 50ms/150 to 250 down and at least 50 up. Another thing I absolutely love is it does not disclose your physical location so I have my own VPN.
