Former Commander of US Army General Ben Hodges admitted that Putin’s successor will be “much worse.” This is what I have warned, as Putin is surprisingly a middle-of-the-road leader compared to others. Hodges believes that the Russian government is already split on the Ukraine war, as many have personally faced sanctions and monetary losses. People think that the war can end by simply removing Putin, but this is simply not true.
“Alexander Dugin (Russian ultra-nationalist philosopher) openly says that Putin needs to be killed,” Hodges said. “We see the North Caucasus and (Chechen leader Ramzan) Kadyrov, who is anticipating Russia’s possible collapse and is trying to protect himself somehow. I absolutely don’t call for regime change in Russia – this is the choice for the Russian people to make, but we must understand that whoever comes after Putin will be much worse.”
The West began discussing reparation payments from Russia months ago. Consequently, losing the war could mean losing Russia. More than just the Donbas area is on the line as we have seen nations and empires divided after wars countless times. Hodges believes a Russian loss would lead to a complete disintegration of the Russian state.
“Under a Russia break-up scenario, you could have a lot of new nuclear-armed states that were divided amongst one another on ethnic lines,” he said. “That raises fears about conflict, spill-over and escalation and nationalism. How do you manage those nuclear weapons? How do you prevent a sort of statelet from going rogue?” This would only lead to growing civil unrest and wars among newly created states. History will never surprise us — it always repeats.
Removing Putin will not end the war. There are men waiting in line behind Putin who would rather nuke us all into oblivion before watching their nation dissolve. This is why I say that the West must abandon Ukraine and urge peace. Ukraine could not defeat Russia without Western aid, and Russia could not be controlled without the checks and balances of the West. The politicians do not understand that there will be no winner in this war.

Ben Hodges is a war loving neocon piece of shit, worse than John Bolton. Hodges’ predictions have been utterly retarded and 100% wrong since the beginning. SHAME on you Mr. Armstrong for quoting this pencil pusher “General” fucken loser.
Uncle Schlomo threw Martin in the Gulag, thus Martin became a truth teller for the opposition, because street cred, bruh , like every good Fed created tool has to have.
I take anything from Military, ex-military, politicians etc all propaganda. Look for their motives.
Has an US general ever been right about anything ?
Slavery, then !
That time is upon us once again.
Tried to find the quote, but at Gettysburg when General Robert E Lee confronted by Longstreet not to engage said something along the lines of ‘those people(what he called Union forces) are over there and that is where I am going’. The war was at a point it was destroy the enemy or be destroyed and he realized it.
Think we are about at that point.
The enemy is here, and if we do not whip him, he will whip us.
– ROBERT E. LEE
Lee was too close to Washington for the CSA’s own good.
Freeing Vicksburg would have been more beneficial to the CSA, which is what Davis wanted, than throwing men away in a blazing storm of shot and steel, for naught. Lee could have learned a few lessons in the strategy of war from Sherman, who was better general than Lee the statesman.
Wonder who the downvoter who hates Robert E Lee? As I type this I am under his gaze from a large lithograph of him I’ve owned for over forty years.
Anyway thanks for the quote. The problem with Sherman is that he was certified mentally ill, he even took himself out of the war early on and checked into an insane asylum, he left yankees to die at Andersonville just so he could bring war down on civilians, he could have freed them but he didn’t as he said himself they would have held him up. He burned his way through my area taking food when crops couldn’t be grown to try to force NC Confederates to desert Petersburg.
Vicksburg was un-defendable, should have surrendered sooner and have the prisoners exchanged to re-join the fight. They were doing it at that particular time.
I visited Fort Pulaski when I lived in Savannah, GA. It was designed and constructed by Robert E. Lee. A pretty impressive achievement, taking 18 years to complete and costing over a million dollars; and only surrendered in 1862 when the Union, using the new rifled cannon (which shot spiral shells as opposed to straight cannonballs, a huge advantage), directly hit their store of gunpowder: one more hit and the entire fort would have been lost.
You can still see the holes in the walls from the battle. And there are sometimes alligators lolling about the grounds — I personally saw four of them; and they had signs up with little gator outlines on them, too, those silly stencils they have like for handicapped access where it looks like they are handicapped because they have a wheel up their asses… but I digress — which gives the fort a nice Southern ambiance.

General Lee shoulda either attacked DC instead of Gettysburg, or flanked East just North of DC and instigated an ‘insurrection’ in a willing Baltimore.
Are you trying to tell us that US generals reading up on white supremacy, depleting our weapon stocks, lowering fitness requirements and organizing transgender story hours for the troops isn’t right? Come on, man!
Smedley Butler.
Patton was right when he stated, “We fought the wrong enemy.”
In todays world putin may have already been replaced with a double or a clone or ???
“Russia could not be controlled without the checks and balances of the West”.
Well that’s fucking retarded.
No shit; his advisors and citizens in the streets are calling for Putin to nuke us off the map. US has played the part of bully for too long and it’s getting close to where we’ll have to pay the piper.
Whoever comes after Biden likely will be too.
I thought that when I heard pelosi was stepping out of her leadership role.
Yes…whoever comes after Putin will likely be worse. Especially if it’s a sudden/violent succession.
That’s how it almost ALWAYS works when governments change under stress. Russia would be no
exception.
