THE SEASON’S UPON US

It is my sincere desire to provide readers of this site with the best unbiased information available, and a forum where it can be discussed openly, as our Founders intended. But it is not easy nor inexpensive to do so, especially when those who wish to prevent us from making the truth known, attack us without mercy on all fronts on a daily basis. So each time you visit the site, I would ask that you consider the value that you receive and have received from The Burning Platform and the community of which you are a vital part. I can't do it all alone, and I need your help and support to keep it alive. Please consider contributing an amount commensurate to the value that you receive from this site and community, or even by becoming a sustaining supporter through periodic contributions. Some people apparently aren’t fond of Christmas music:

Thanks Admin I look forward to this every Christmas. Reminds me of an Irish wedding or two my family threw back in the neighborhood.

I spent most of my day yesterday putting up Christmas decorations. Light, manger thingy, 7′ snow man, fake dear, etc. I’m going all out this year. There will probably only be 10 people who see them. But my wife and grand kids likes them so I do it.

I’m waiting till the rest of the leaves fall before heading onto the roof with the leaf blower. Then the acre of leaves need bagged before the manger, deer and forest go on the lawn. THEN I can start hanging the Epsteins lights.

I saw a phenomenon that is new to me — Christmas lighting installers — and it ain’t cheap … one ad was charging $179+ to install lights and such — and about $100 to remove them (some folks leave them up all year) …

I’ve never seen such a business before … this is in the greater Vancouver, WA, area …
