I had not even heard of this movie. The people most susceptible to this climate change anxiety are also the ones most likely to hop on a plane to see a concert or to engage in “eco-tourism” in places like Costa Rica. Eco-tourism is the biggest misnomer around. The biggest curtailable use of fossil fuel is air travel. They’ll go vegan to change the weather and then hop on a plane sixteen times a year and think nothing of it. The “redneck” who eats burgers and drives a truck uses less fuel because he only flies once every few years, if that.

At my local multiplex in Vancouver, WA, the adult tickets cost $13 — not the $8-10 that the folks seem to be considering …
That’s a sizable difference … if the average theater is getting $80 — that’s only 6 tickets … not 8 or 10 …
