The fact that he tried to preemptively buy dispensation by donating to politicians doesn’t – IMO – actually mean they were “in on it”. Ukraine is a money-laundering operation (among other things), but I don’t think most politicians are smart enough to understand SBF’s Ponzi scheme. They just took the money he gave. It looks to me like SBF stole people’s money, skimmed off a lot for himself and his family and donated a bunch to politicians. The political donation money is gone and won’t have to be refunded. I don’t think they have any need to suicide him.
