There is an article here: The New-Normaling of Blackouts which discusses how the powers that be are normalizing the idea that we will have, and have always had, power blackouts. The article is a quick read and worth your time as it relates to the coming rolling blackouts we can all expect and, indeed, should try to prepare for where possible.
The thrust of the article is not only that power blackouts are coming but, more importantly, that we must be gas-lighted into thinking that blackouts have always been with us and that it is a completely normal part of our lives.
In the article the author offers his 7-steps of the new-normaling process which are:
1. Denial – It’s not happening; everything is normal. If it were happening, it would be really bad. Those who say it’s happening are trying to scare you.
2. Acknowledgement – This was a unique set of circumstances not to be repeated. If it were actually happening, it would be really bad. Those who say it’s happening are trying to scare you, and they ought to be silenced.
3. Redirection – It happened, but those who keep harping on that are just out to scare people and not focus on solutions.
4. Confusion – It is happening, and you should expect it to keep happening. Those critics saying it’s because of our policies are trying to scare you from seeing that we’re actually providing the solution, and we need to press ahead.
5. Patriotism – Yes, it’s happening, and we’re glad! You should be, too. It’s pushing us toward a solution. The people telling you it’s bad are trying to divide society, because they’re scared we have the solution.
6. Demonize – It’s happening, and that’s proof that the change we’re bringing about is working. People saying it’s bad are trying to drag our society back to the Dark Ages. They are spouting misinformation and should be denied any public forum.
7. End-Game – This? Anyone who says it never used to happen is lying. You only think you remember when it didn’t happen. This is all normal.
Although the article is about power blackouts I find you can really replace the power issue with any of the many social issues we find ourselves confronted with; trans-gender surgery for children aka mental-health, drag-queen story hours aka groomers, family friendly drag-shows aka gas-lighting parents, “minor attracted people” aka pedophiles, global cooling warming something anything, eating insects, owning nothing, open borders, obesity is healthy, only white people can be racist, your history is crap, and so it goes on.
With all of these issues and more they are normalizing the fringe to the point where maybe not the old guard but perhaps our children or grandchildren will think things were always like this. Gramps is just an old codger who can’t remember that boys pretending to be girls always raped girls in school bathrooms and the schools did nothing because after all kids will be kids, that we always mutilated our children’s genitals to make them the opposite sex, that taking children to drag-shows is the responsible thing to do, that teachers brain-washing our children behind our backs into gender confusion is necessary for their mental health, that there were always 83 genders, that 18 year olds are too young to buy alcohol but 5 year olds can choose to cut off their penises, and on and on and on.
The America of our youth is gone, the dream she once was dies with the old-school generation, and all that remains is for the old guard to GTFO of town so the Neo-History™ can be unchallenged. Normalizing the Fringe, a 7-step plan, same as it ever was.

Reich later broke with Freud, FWIW. He also rejected centralized authoritarianism. There’s lot more to Reich’s work than is popularly cherry-picked by both his detractors and vaunted followers. He was always demeaned and dismissed by the powers that be as being obsessed with sexuality. The opposite is true: he saw how much humanity was obsessed with sexuality due to a negative view of natural first sex impulses. Reich would be dismayed by the sexual and other distortions of our present time.

One of the biggest mistakes, problems if you wish, is that for decades we thought that working within the system was the way to get results. Most of us while more than capable of going to war prefer not having to kill our fellow human beings.

Am saving The Machine Stops to enjoy later. A good short story is to savor and not rushed through such as a real good cup of coffee.
Many have warned, but the power of mass media is such that the herd character of men is triggered when shown the illusion of consensus. Media is mistaken for a popularity contest, while at the same time it molds the observer. It started with the printing press and accelerated with radio and then television took it to the present dystopian nightmare.
It seems the greater the sword, the greater the damage that other edge does.
The men and women who sacrificed so much from the World War 2 generation are rolling over in their graves and I fear I have no plausible explanation as to what I and others have allowed to happen to what was our Republic.

This has been going on for a long long time and probably since the dawn of civilization. It’s usually done in minute increments. It’s very frustrating that the vast majority of the people don’t see or care to see it. The consequences of this subject are so vast I doubt anyone could cover it all. Just one example is the FRB. Prior to it’s creation everyone’s standard of living was increasing. Now nope. Not only is our standard of living not increasing but it’s gone so far backwards we are literally back to being serfs. Who remembers silver coins in everyday use? Consider what happened after 911 and specifically at the airports. We all know how it was prior. Now it’s normal to be groped, humiliated in various ways, and on and on. People today see it as normal, even those idiot adults who flew prior to 911. It’s for our own good.
Actually, this freakshow is better than any dystopian film I can remember from my youth.
Including Escape from NY, Escape from LA, Blade Runner, and a host of others.
It’s like living the dystopia.

Why don’t the good jews speak out? Same as the “good” blacks who love all the things done for blacks even though it’s racist to do such things. I had a friend who was a “good” black…until he told me he supported BLM. Dropped his ass like a stone.
What it comes down to is that most of the world is tribal and will only support their tribe. Only white people have this attitude that we should all love each other.
