It is really quite fascinating and not a little scary. One needs to think through the implications of what and how this tech is going to change things. Ignore the messenger, focus on the message.

I agree. I think to many expect gods, rather than men. We all have our blind spots and being deeply human, we certainly each have a unique nurture, faults and levels of understanding.
Have been doing a little digging into so-called AI myself. There are very good reasons to conclude that A) it is not happening, B) it can’t happen for a long time yet, and C) may never happen. Fundamental differences between a ‘mind’ and machine ‘intelligence’.

Yes. My test is a truly sentient and ultra intelligent AI would know the Bible is true and pick a side. If they were neutral they would pick the winning side.
