‘We Are Facing The Entire NATO In Ukraine’: Kremlin Says, As UK Mulls Battle Tanks

Via ZeroHedge

Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolay Patrushev has issued ultra-provocative words claiming that it’s not fundamentally Ukraine that Russia is at war with, but that the Russian military is facing all of NATO inside Ukraine.

“The events in Ukraine aren’t a clash between Moscow and Kiev. It’s a military confrontation of NATO, first of all the US and Britain, with Russia. Fearing a direct engagement, NATO instructors push Ukrainian men to certain death,” he said in a fresh interview with state-owned newspaper aif.ru.

Patrushev continued by describing Russia’s military as geared toward seeking to “free its regions from occupation and must put an end to the West’s bloody experiment to destroy the fraternal people of Ukraine.”

We are not at war with Ukraine because we can’t have hatred for ordinary Ukrainians by default,” he stressed. He then presented Russian and Ukrainian heritage and closely bound up together, according to state media:

“Get this: the Ukrainian language is one of the official languages in Crimea. Ukrainian cultural centers, Ukrainian folk song and dance groups continue to exist in many cities. A considerable number of people in the south of the Far East regard Ukrainian culture as their own, given a large proportion of migrants from the times of Stolypin,” he said, referring to Pyotr Stolypin, a prime minister of the Russian Empire in the early 1900s, who oversaw a resettlement policy.

“The sooner the people of Ukraine realize that the West is using them to wage a war on Russia, the more lives will be saved,” Patrushev added. “Many have realized that long ago, but they are afraid to say that publicly out of fear of reprisals. It’s not a part of the West’s plans to save someone’s life to the detriment of its enrichment and other ambitions. Even so, the Americans, the British and other Europeans often create an illusion that they protect civilization from barbarians.”

He then referenced the ongoing Western backed attempts of Kiev to make Russian language and culture illegal, which directly impacts millions in the region: “all this story with Ukraine was engineered by Washington to rehearse the technologies of dividing a people that’s one and sow discord,” he said.

Meanwhile, there’s a growing move among leading NATO countries to begin transferring Western tanks and troop carriers to the Ukrainian battlefield. Starting last week, France began leading the way, resulting in a fierce response from the Kremlin…

But following this warning that a “red line” has been crossed, the Biden administration approved sending Bradley Fighting Vehicles, and now Britain is the next to be mulling tanks for Ukrainian forces, as Sky News reports Monday:

The UK is considering supplying Ukraine with British tanks for the first time to fight Russia’s invading forces, Sky News understands.

Discussions have been taking place “for a few weeks” about delivering a number of the British Army’s Challenger 2 main battle tank to the Ukrainian armed forces, a Western source with knowledge of the conversations said.

A Ukrainian official was cited in the report as saying that the UK sending tanks would in turn “encourage others to give tanks.” President Zelensky during his December in-person address to US Congress mentioned that his country is in dire need of tanks, and he’s specifically multiple times asked Washington for M1 Abrams tanks.

The US has still remained reluctant, however, largely on fears that to much heavy weaponry too fast would lead to direct NATO-Russia confrontation, ostensibly at least.

But based on the words of Russian Security Council Secretary Patrushev, it seems Russia increasingly sees military confrontation with NATO as already happening. After all, the massive loss of Russian troops in the Makiivka barracks attack was reportedly accomplished with US-supplied HIMARS missile systems.

The idiots of NATO have decided to junk more of their military hardware by sending it to Ukraine. I guess Bidet set the example by leaving all of that military hardware in Afghanistan. They could at least be turning their swords into ploughshares instead of worthless junk.

Pepe Escobar is not impressed with NATO or the US….

Time to fry NATO fish

Meanwhile, deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev, visibly relishing his totally unplugged incarnation, expanded on the Fried Negotiation Fish saga. “Last warning to all nations”, as he framed it: “there can be no business with the Anglo-Saxon world [because] it is a thief, a swindler, a card-sharp that could do anything… From now on we will do without them until a new generation of sensible politicians comes to power… There is nobody in the West we could deal with about anything for any reason.”…

Arguably the biggest fish to be fried in 2023 is the myth of NATO. Every serious military analyst, few Americans included, knows that the Russian Army and military industrial complex represents a superior system than what existed at the end of the U.S.SR, and far superior to that of the U.S. and the rest of NATO today.

The myth of U.S. power

The CIA abandoned Afghanistan in a humiliating retreat – even ditching the heroin ratline – just to relocate to Ukraine and continue playing the same old broken records. The CIA is behind the ongoing sabotage of Russian infrastructure – in tandem with MI6 and others. Sooner or later there will be blowback.

Few people – including CIA operatives – may know that New York City, for instance, may be destroyed with a single move: blowing up the George Washington bridge. The city can’t be supplied with food and most of its requirements without the bridge. The New York City electrical grid can be destroyed by knocking out the central controls; putting it back together could take a year…

Apart from Ukraine and Poland there is no NATO force worth mentioning. Germany has a risible two-day supply of ammunition. Turkey will not send a single soldier to fight Russians in Ukraine.

Out of 80,000 U.S. troops stationed in Europe, only 10% are weaponized. Recently 20,000 were added, not a big deal. If the Americans activated their troops in Europe – something rather ridiculous in itself – they would not have any place to land supplies or reinforcements. All airports and seaports would be destroyed by Russian hypersonic missiles in a matter of minutes – in continental Europe as well as the UK.

In addition, all fuel centers such as Rotterdam for oil and natural gas would be destroyed, as well as all military installations, including top American bases in Europe: Grafenwoehr, Hohenfels, Ramstein, Baumholder, Vilseck, Spangdahlem, and Wiesbaden in Germany (for the Army and Air Force); Aviano Air Base in Italy; Lajes Air Base in Portugal’s Azores islands; Naval Station Rota in Spain; Incirlik Air Base in Turkey; and Royal Air Force stations Lakenheath and Mildenhall in the UK…

U.S. military power is the supreme myth of the fish to be fried variety. Essentially, they hide behind proxies – as the Ukraine Armed Forces. U.S. forces are worthless except in turkey shoots as in Iraq in 1991 and 2003, against a disabled opponent in the middle of the desert with no air cover. And never forget how NATO was completely humiliated by the Taliban.

It’s immedately apparent that TYLER DURDEN, the author of this “article,” is just another mouthpiece for Joe Biden, et al. trying to establish a “logical” reason for the U.S. to enter into another European border war (as if we’re not already there).
Not to sound too paranoid, but Joe Biden, et al. are doing a very good job of stripping our nation of its assets, now they want to kill off the rest of the young men they haven’t already with “the jab” by sending them as cannon fodder to another European killing field: again, for the third time in just over a century.
What is the end game of Joe Biden, et al?

I keep getting a feeling that Russia is following Sam Houston’s tactic in the fight for Texas Independence. They are biding their time waiting for the “battle field” of their choice. When it presents itself the hammer will fall. Be it on Ukraine, or NATO as a whole, or???

Not only has Russia taken too long, IMO, but they’re also at fault for allowing any artillery or HIMARs rocket launchers within range of any area in which they can cause damage. Russia has full air superiority and satellites, so what’s the excuse?

Russia just lit up 600 poor Ukrainian dupes in retaliation for the HIMARS attack that killed , depending on who you believe, 82-400 Russian troops.

That’s not the point. The HIMARS launch vehicle shouldn’t have been in range to make the strike and kill the Russians, given the Russians’ overwhelming air and satellite superiority, as well as technological superiority. They should know where all these launchers and artillery pieces are and blow them up before they can kill Russians.

Really can’t fathom how my initial comment got 3 downvotes. Haven’t you guys watched this shit show long enough to see Russia is screwing up by not going hard and fast enough? WTF??

You mean your Hollywood-based knowledge tells you an advanced reconnaissance force should be able to take out 100% of the enemies key assets, with ease?

My “Hollywood-based knowledge?” GFY, smartypants.

The Russians have FULL air superiority and satellites to observe the areas close to the border between the Dwarf’s forces and the areas Russia controls. There should be no more HIMARS rocket attacks, nor should there be any shelling with conventional artillery of civilians in Donetsk.

In fact, there shouldn’t be ANY Ukulele forces in those entrenched positions just outside of the breakaway provinces – these should’ve been carpet bombed into oblivion months ago.

Instead, Russia is dropping drone-borne grenades on them an shelling them with howitzers. Go look up the “December1991” channel on BitChute for videos.

Really nice and brief story on Sonar21 about the salt mines under Bakhmut.

================

“The prolonged battle for Bakhmut is portrayed in the press as a symbol of Russian weakness. I know that many Westerners have scratched their heads and wondered why such a fierce battle is being waged over this particular piece of territory. The answer, I believe, lies below the surface of Bakhmut/Soledar in the Soledar Salt Mines. The Salt mine is a monster, with a 125 miles of tunnels.”

Justice will be delivered at hypersonic speed when the time is right. 10 warheads on a single missile traveling at Mach 9 (6905 mph). That shit will hit you before you know it’s coming and when it goes bang, you are vaporized. But don’t worry, Biden is in charge.

The Russians are taking so long because they do not want to be blamed for starting WW3 but they will be anyway, so you make a valid point. If anyone thinks the Ukrainians can operate, let alone maintain, western tanks and/or aircraft that is pure fantasy. If US sends any of those (tanks/aircraft) trainers/support personnel will have to go as well. Only a matter of time before a base is hit and US lives lost. Once that happens it will be difficult to hide from US public. At that point US will either go all in or have to start looking for a way out. It would not surprise me if US special forces are already operating with Ukranian forces. Their deaths can be explained away as a “training accident” as long as too many are not casualties. My opinion I could be wrong, and I pray to God that I am….every day.
