Excess claims/mortality for Q3 22 group life as computed by the society of actuaries (SOA) for 0-44 age group will be 23.9% I am being told. About the same as Q2
Early Q4 22 read is it might tick up…stay tuned

They are simply printing money and buying silence, compliance, etc. My original thought was that bigPharma or the feds would simply cover the insurance losses to keep them silent, because obviously the actuaries didn’t budget for mass genocide payouts.

Lincoln National recently saw something like 7,000 life policies NOT lapse, as expected. That is, the old people who owned these policies, which cost a small fortune every year, decided to scrounge up the money for the premium to keep the policy in-force. Why would they start doing that en masse now?
