Cochrane study shows no evidence they work. Duh. We’ve been saying that for a long time. This discredits the CDC as well as the entire mainstream medical community (except for UCSF’s Vinay Prasad).
Executive summary
The new Cochrane Review on Masks proves beyond doubt that the misinformation spreaders were right and the ENTIRE mainstream medical community is now discredited (except for UCSF Professor Vinay Prasad who spoke out about masks).
So now we are down to just one credible mainstream scientist for advice on COVID mitigation strategies: Vinay Prasad.
Introduction
Thanks to Stephen Petty for bringing the new Cochrane Review entitled, “Physical interventions to interrupt or reduce the spread of respiratory viruses (Review)” to my attention this morning.
He wrote: “Once again, masks and N95s don’t work – see marked pages 22-23”

The Cochrane press release confirmed all this and then concluded: “We are uncertain whether wearing masks or N95/P2 respirators helps to slow the spread of respiratory viruses.” Yeah right. Let me provide the Plain English Translation for you of that statement:
“We couldn’t find a shred of evidence supporting the notion that masks make any difference whatsoever. Whoever is advising people to do this is not basing their decision on any scientific evidence.”
The Bangladesh mask study
I personally was most impressed with the Bangladesh mask study which claimed masks work. Here is the curve for the purple cloth masks vs. placebo. If you can see a difference between the two, you should immediately apply for a job with the CDC:

Summary
Joe Biden shall henceforth be referred to as America’s “anti-science” President for insisting on bringing back a medical intervention which has NO MEASURABLE BENEFIT.
The staff people who advised him to do this should be fired.
CDC Director Rochelle Walensky should be fired for not being able to analyze what the science says.
The only reliable mainstream scientist left that America should be relying on for COVID mitigation strategies is UCSF Professor Vinay Prasad.
The mainstream infectious disease medical community is now a laughing stock for not calling this out.

Why was there ever a debate? Covid is a hoax and the mask is a compliance muzzle used by governments as a means to track how many people are willfully participating in the hoax.
The science is settled. So, shut up and put your fucking mask on.

Using surgical.masks in dirty environments is less constricting than the 3M dust masks.
And far less expensive.
I wonder if encasing your smart meter with lead sheeting will shield some of this harmful radiation.

Some will continue to cling bitterly to their masks.
So I walk into a small VA clinic maskless…not the hospital were they have people posted at entrances with stacks of masks. If you don’t put one on and walk pass them they will call the VA cops. I have seen them swarm one guy (not for going maskless) but he deserved it as the dude was off his rocker. But I’m not looking to get swarmed so when there I accept it, put it on, and keep it under or on my chin…no one has ever said anything.
I check in and no one says a word about being completely maskless, not just pretending with one on my chin. I’m the only person not wearing a mask I can see, but there are a couple wearing it under their nose.
I sat among 5 other masked vets, one has the 95 on, the others the flimsy cheap cloth ones. I started a conversation with one guy (two of the others are on their phones, three watching the TV – and a commercial for VA LBGQR- IT PERVERT PRIDE DAY came on) I snort.
I was being jovial with one guy and we started really talking. One thing I like to do at the VA when I talk with other vets is ask them what branch they were in (if they are not wearing a cap that tells you) and what was their MOS. I enjoy hearing other’s background. As we were talking back and forth he pulled his mask down under his chin…great guy and we shared a few experiences, and a couple of laughs. Then another guy jumped in and soon a third. Ten minutes later everyone but the 95er had their masks either off or under their chin and we were all talking back and forth. Four white and two black vets having an interesting conversation.
After about ten minutes I discovered I was sitting with two paratroopers, a medic, an artilleryman, and two other grunts…and we all were combat vets from three different bullshit MIC wars.
What I really liked was after about 15 minutes everyone had taken their mask off or pulled it under their chin, even the 95er.
Another vet came in masked up, checked in, sat down and looked at all us and took his mask off!
(I smiled to myself…MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!)
