All hell broke out on Sunday night in Baltimore City’s Inner Harbor district when gunshots were heard, causing hundreds of spring break youngsters to scatter through the streets. The mayhem, captured on video, resembled an apocalyptic scene. As a result, Mayor Brandon Scott has proposed a citywide curfew for minors during the upcoming summer months.
Baltimore City Police Commissioner Michael Harrison said more than 200 “young people” went running after gunfire rang out just 50 feet from police officers, according to Fox Baltimore. A 14yo and a 16yo suffered gunshot wounds.

“Either they [the kids] don’t care about consequences or don’t believe the consequences, and they have no respect for human life or the sanctity of life or authority to pull off that brazen cowardly act right there in the presence of police officers,” said Harrison.
Mayor Scott said youth curfews would be implemented for the summer period.
“I want everyone to hear me and hear me very clearly. We are going back to the old days. We will be enforcing the use of youth curfew in Baltimore as we move into the later Spring and Summer months,” the mayor said.

If you get two or three blocks off course you are no longer in the safe zone. And, judging by news stories the safe zone keeps shrinking as Wakanda grows.

How long is Spring Break exactly? For what seems like the last two months every time we see one of these massive “youth” brawls we’re told it’s because of Spring Break. Will it ever end?

Only a week, but not every college has their break at the same time. Some run on the semester system and some on the quarterly, and even within those systems there are differences. And you have to attend college or at least some sort of school to have it qualify as a “break,” so that probably leaves all these folks out anyway.

made big barking noise. One day as we drove toward our driveway, Mom and
2 cubs were calmly walking toward the rear of the property. My next door neighbor
had his chicken house raided, the neighbor across the road and down apiece had
his fence crushed and the brand new large bird feeder was taken. Down a piece
from there my neighbor showed a picture of 3 cubs high-high up in the tree
growing out from their large deck. Two summers ago, my son had a grown
bear peering through his screen door at the top of his staircase. There are more
stories…many include, so and so had a bear. BTW, I have a professional chainlink
fence not a toy one from Menards. The boys came down from MI, stayed three days
and installed the one surrounding the house, and another one surrounding the
garden/chicken area. Tall fences at that.
Leave the city, let em’ burn it down, who cares? Gonna happen even if you care.
