The UK Telegraph on March 31, 2023, reported “Joe Biden’s America is splitting at the seams.” The article reported results of a new survey of Americans undertaken by the National Opinion Research Center and the Wall Street Journal. The survey finds startling declines in Americans faith in America, their communities, religion, and a sharp drop in patriotism. Americans who prioritize patriotism fell from 61% to 38%. Community involvement collapsed to 27%. Religion dropped from 48% to 39%, and those to whom starting a family is important fell from 43%to 30%.
If you would like insight as to why this collapse in traditional values, read Claes G. Ryn’s new book, The Failure of American Conservatism. In brief, Ryn attributes conservatism’s failure to preoccupation with politics and neglect of corrosive ideas that undermined religion, the family, parental authority, truth, and replaced a united people with a tower of babel. The other big conservative issue was saving the world from communism. Dystopian novels such as George Orwell’s 1984 were associated with the Soviet Union. Conservatives focused on outside national security threats instead of on threats from within from leftwing ideas increasingly anti-Western, anti-Christian, and anti-white. A false history of slavery was created and used to create black victimhood.
Rousseauvian idealism recast the explanation of evil. Evil was removed from the human heart against which we contend with the help of religion and was attributed to the institutions of existing society, to civilization itself. In recent years we see many manifestations of this. For example, the New York Times’ 1619 Project which says America was created on the basis of the institution of black slavery. The institution of marriage, which limited marriage to vows between a man and a woman, discriminates against same sex marriage. Pedophiles are deprived of sexual love between adults and arbitrarily defined children. Normalizing perversity is seen as liberation from discriminatory institutions. Civilization’s emphasis on moral character as a constraint on evil was replaced with the emphasis that evil resided in the institutions of civilization. Wokeness is now a pursued goal of profit-driven corporations such as Disney and Budweiser.
The latest expression of Rousseau’s vision is the Avatar movies by James Cameron in which an idyllic people in harmony with nature try to save the environment from destruction by civilization.
In the Woke view that now seems dominant, innocent people, which seems to exclude white heterosexual males, are victims of the evil in civilization’s institutions, not themselves perpetrators of evil. This view is taught in schools and universities and is being institutionalized in corporations, museums, and entertainment. The result is a generalized attack on civilization and the recasting of truth as approved emotions.
The revolution against civilization erases the empirical, rational, logical foundation of truth and gives rise to individuals who do not have to control themselves, because their transgressions are caused by corrupt institutions, from the chains of which man must be set free.
As Ryn puts it, patterns of profound irresponsibility are being deeply ingrained, thus institutionalizing the self-inflicted ongoing societal and cultural collapse.

I am. an. AMERICAN!…….it’s a SINGULAR IDEA…….just like we are ruled by an OLIGARCHY called the Executive,Legislative and Judicial branches…..all of which have been taken over by BOLSHEVICKS!(of a singular idea)…..they hate America,it’s values and last but not least YOU!……
I agree in principal, but I think the Oligarchy is actually the Central Banks, Corporations and Intelligence agencies.
Before it’s all said and done the whole “which seems to exclude white heterosexual males” will have to become something more than a buried lede cast into the melting pot of blank-slat civnattery. Like perhaps to become “a united People”.
And since we are talking mythology, becoming the Noble Savages ourselves is looking more like the only solution to cast off this fetid corpse of invasive death-cult institutions that passes as “civilization” that the cult of magic dirt and parchments seem to want to keep reanimating in the basement with philosophical lightning from the cloud between bouts of voting harder and super bowl humiliation rituals.

I believe the heart of the problem to be that many organizations have no reason to exist. Why join a political party when the only beneficiaries are insiders? Why vote when the choice is only dumb or dumber? Why be patriotic when everyday our leaders strive to make fUSA just another country? People are focused on their own lives when being part of an organization doesn’t provide them with any more meaning than not being part of a group.
I think that is where the power in groups like BLM & Antifa comes from. They see the damage and destruction, the news stories, and weeping of the conservative punditry as giving them meaning through the organization. Their group does things that, in their mind, matter.
My own church, not church at large although many are, seems to be falling into the habit of not reaching out and lost focus. When we started there it was very active in the community. We, as individuals, were tasked to make a difference. Slowly over a few years that individual responsibility has been contracted out to other organizations. Now, instead of us doing big things we write checks to other organizations to do them.
I’m not called to write checks. I am called to personally make a difference.

America is an abstraction, a legal fiction, a corporate entity. If it doesn’t work, abandon it. We are not “human resources” for a corporation; corporations are resources for humans. When a corporate entity runs afoul of its mission statement, or ceases to be of value, it is right to discard it.

I’m pretty sure you can claim to be the administrator of your corporate personhood…but the Vatican holds title to your corporate self…I don’t completely understand how this occurred but it was by design.

When I was a youth (50s etc) , we had ready access to semiautomatic shotguns that are just as lethal as ARs, so access to lethal guns is not some new problem, yet I don’t know of any cases of youth back then being serial killers with guns (except the University of Texas Tower Incident, but he had a brain tumor). Man’s fall from grace has a more esoteric explanation, in the Hebrew bible and parts of Genesis a more supernatural view of evil is attributed to the Watchers, the angels that failed to keep their dominion. The Watchers, the fallen angels, took human wives and had hybrid children who became giants, part human and part divine. When God caused the destruction of the Watchers and their children, the Watchers were imprisoned in Tartarus for 70 generations, until judgement. The giant hybrid children died and were trapped on Earth to became spiritual demons. We are seeing the demons released, the end of the age is here and you can now believe what you want…but what you understand is a completely different matter.
