I have a HeritageMfg. .22 Rough Rider pistol made in USA. Get one. “Cheap” but they shoot good enough. Watch the ejector tube though. The screw holding it came out of mine. I found the tube and the screw but no can find the spring. Ordered another spring today.
For years Academy would put the Rough Rider on sale for $99. They have increased in price. Get one while you can!
I’ve been saying that the jobs have left for China for many years including here on TPB. I witnessed it firsthand and have had many people tell me about factories closing and moving away. (i traveled the country for years) this went on month after month for years. Greedy fuks wanted no worker or environmental regs, cheap almost slave labor, and then have the balls to sell Chinese junk here.

Props to Llpoh back in the day he, and believe it or not Admin, would roll in hot on newbies. It was fun to watch and experience it as I did. I never took anything personally because we were discussing issues and points of view and I expected pushback. Llpoh has put a lot of time in on this site. Yes, time in grade counts for something IMO. You can disagree of course. I still consider him a TBP plank owner/bigdog along with Admin(obvious choice) Stuckey and HSF.
I believe the thing to do if jobs going to China is real would be to “vote” for somebody that is outspoken about alleged trade imbalances. But then wasn’t that tried in 2016 and again in 2020?
