It took me half a century to discover that the metric for all human behavior rests on a baseline of truth.
Everything springs from that single point.
The biggest problem is that once you’ve made that discovery, virtually all of our existing institutions, beliefs, in fact the very framework of our present civilization reveals itself to be completely corrupted, from the top down. All the other factors are sidereal; race, gender, ideology, intelligence, maturity, etc.
And it is the one thing that almost no one speaks of in daily conversation.
yes. except the direction is bottom up. foundation is below, not above (castles in the air). that ‘smarter’ liars work product is dumber liars is the baseline (rd) killer.
We, the people, (a good portion of us) have know for well over a hundred years they were corrupt. Otherwise we would not have writings from people like Mark Twain. And because we looked the other way and went about our lives they got bolder and bolder and now they just mock us daily. And still we do nothing. We deserve what is coming. Not only to I hate them, I hate us because we are complicit.
It takes guts and honesty to say this. Easy is to just blame the previous generation.
