It is my sincere desire to provide readers of this site with the best unbiased information available, and a forum where it can be discussed openly, as our Founders intended. But it is not easy nor inexpensive to do so, especially when those who wish to prevent us from making the truth known, attack us without mercy on all fronts on a daily basis. So each time you visit the site, I would ask that you consider the value that you receive and have received from The Burning Platform and the community of which you are a vital part. I can't do it all alone, and I need your help and support to keep it alive. Please consider contributing an amount commensurate to the value that you receive from this site and community, or even by becoming a sustaining supporter through periodic contributions. Back in the Good Old Days, everyone was White, and it was OK.
I remember in 1oth grade in SoCal 1970 the girls had to wear dresses and the hemline coudn’t be more than 4 inches above the knee. By the end of the school year girls could wear jeans to school, a lot changed that year.
Cheer Leaders at Wyandotte HS in Kansas City, Kansas had skirts below the knee in 1960. On the other hand, Shawnee Mission Schools Cheer Leaders and Pep Clubs had skirts mid-thigh. Damn they were hot.
I believe these pictures MAY be from Americana, a Confederate settlement in Brazil.
Rebelettes, Westbury High School, Houston, 1966.
They’re probably dead now…
Michael Strahan on GoodMorningAmerica went to this school…but after it was forced to do away with the Confederate symbols….and fuck him anyway.
Wo nelly, I graduated before then from Robert E Lee HS and a lot of us ain’t dead but the school is all niggers and called Riverside and dead academically and culturally (no rebel flags, etc) as far as I can tell. Fuck’em.
Never went to a Breakers/Wreck’n yard for parts. It was my playground.
And the old decrepit 1800’s lumber yard, with the still-used spur rail into it for lumber deliveries from the north woods’ sawmills. Toys R Us had outdoors locations all over back then, with trees, ponds, choo-choos, and other free-of-charge toys in ’em – and you could ride your bike there, too.
Oh, and the sky looked different then . . . I’m old now; maybe I’m imagining things:
Good old days, meet good old skies.
The good ‘ole days. There’s something missing in these photo’s that has changed society for the worse. I just can’t put my finger on it.
Laurie Partridge… mmm.
Not many people remember Art Linkletter anymore. It’s rare now for someone to ask me if we are related.
These pictures remind me of how much we’ve lost as a country.
Angie Dickenson for the win.
Angie had a real nice ass and titties.
That photo of Frank Zappa…awesome.
My town is still kind of like this. That’s why the popular MSM news and stuff on TBP is like looking at a different planet.
That Pink Blanket is Vintage and I have one handed down. It is pure wool and made by

Beverly Hillbillies on “trans”
Original broadcast date 3 Oct 1962.
Just push play, all cued up.
“It ain’t right for folks to go against nature.”
One of the best shows ever made. I was born about 15 years too late to see it initially, but made my kids watch all the too small series, along with starteck, the best Batman series ever made, Adams family, Gilligan’s island and they have to listen to classic country music… Before it recently lot of it became crap. Need to find where we can get Andy Griffith. Looking at the horrors I subjected my kids to, I’m surprised they are what used to be what was called normal people
