Ron DeSantis Has Made a Great Blunder

Guest Post by Paul Craig Roberts

Ron DeSantis is the most successful governor in the United States.  He kept Florida open and non- mandated during the Covid Deception.  Americans poured into Florida for relief from the lockdowns and masks.

DeSantis taught a lesson to Disney, an evil corporation that advocates sexual perversity, especially among children.  DeSantis stopped the leftwing freaks in the public schools teaching white kids that they and their parents are racists.  DeSantis stopped the teaching of transgender ideology in Florida’s public schools.  DeSantis was positioned to become a future president of the United States, but his ambition ran away with him and he has ruined himself by competing against Trump for the Republican presidential nomination.

What a waste of a perfectly positioned candidate to be our future president.

As polls show, Republican voters want Trump by wide margins. The electorate knows Trump’s reelection was stolen by Democrats.  The electorate knows that the NY and DOJ indictments of Trump are entirely political completely devoid of any merit. The electorate knows that the Democrats have targeted traditional white Americans for second class citizenship as “racists,”  “white supremacists,”  as “threats to democracy.”  The electorate understand that white people have no future under the woke Democrats. They will not forgive DeSantis for challenging Trump’s nomination.  DeSantis should have stood up for Trump and campaigned for him.  Most likely DeSantis would have been the Vice Presidential candidate and would have been perfectly positioned as Trump’s successor.

What explains this enormous judgmental error?

Was it DeSantis’ ambition or was it his advisors’ mistake?

How can sensible advisors’ make such a massive mistake?  Are DeSantis’ advisors well placed agents actively working to eliminate Republican presidential candidates who would succeed ?

As I correctly predicted, Trump destroyed himself by his ignorance of Washington and underestimation of the power of the ruling elite. Trump chose the worst advisers he could possibly have chosen.  He was a babe in the woods.

Is this also DeSantis’ fate?

Desantis could not likely have ever been Trumps V.P. given they represent the same state. not impossible, but the rules make it much tougher.

A difficulty that could have been overcome, however, by Trump changing his legal residence back to New York or even to New Jersey prior to the general election.

DeSantis needed money and the only way he could get the money was to suck-up to the RINO Totalitarians. The public wants nothing to do with the RINO Totalitarians, so they rejected DeSantis. If DeSantis is funded by the enemy, he is owned by the enemy. If he is owned by the enemy, he will not fight for freedom. Biden is owned by China and the Cartels. DeSantis is owned by the RINOs. Trump is not owned.

Whats the point? Elections are fake and so are the polls. Trump and DeSantis are just two actors playing their parts.

The computerized voting machines are still there, vote by mail is still there, and we are still being presented with two equally worthless candidates. They’ve got it rigged on multiple different levels.

Vote harder and enjoy the illusion.

At the current rate of invasion taking place across our border(s), the US will have more than 80,000,000 illegal aliens by 2028 … enough ‘democrats’ to forever alter our Nation — for the worse.

Yeah sure, keep believing in the distraction of the false left/right paradigm. It’s all the left’s fault, the democrats, the left, the democrats…..if only we could have more conservatives, more republicans. Lol!

I DO think Trump and DeSantis should not run AGAINST each other…..it should be
“hey,we believe in the same things, just slightly different ideas how to get there”…..type of scenario……that would have REALLY drove the left nuts with a unified front!
That being said…..vote harder……yeah

Trump donated his quarterly presidential salary. As a DC outsider, successful businessman, who still cared about correcting the trajectory of the runaway train heading for the cliff, that counts for something.
Hero worship? Nope.
Just an observation.
Flaws? A basketful.
Owned? Probably.
Poor choices w cabinet? Sure.
Explanation? Back stabbing, ill suited advisors. PCR accurately describes DJT’s inexperience w how the game is played in DC.

Trump & Ron share some ideologies, but differ in styles and persona.
Ron was right to call out Donnie’s childish ad hominem barbs.

They both have traits to be severely suspicious of.

DeSantis’ decision to run reminds me of a problem every golfer has experienced. The golfer looks at a shot ahead of him and choses a club. Then he takes a couple of practice swings looks a the shot again and changes clubs. He then takes the swing and the result was, he should have trusted his first instinct. The club he first chose was the correct club not the club he eventually used. DeSantis said early on that if Trump runs he will not run. That was the correct decision. I think his advisors changed his mind because of the indictments Trump is facing. They likely told DeSantis that Trump will go down with these indictments and when he does DeSantis will be well positioned to get the nomination. This scenario still may come to pass, however his shining light will be quite dim by the time this happens.

Two if by sea.
Two if by sea.

Agreed. Further, men shouldn’t compete measured by their chances of winning but rather for running to be the right thing to do.

It is all scripted whether most players and audience know or not. Climaxes in third act with ww3 infrastructure cleanse, TPTB instigated civil wars, GMO enhanced famine, bio-engineered disease and “health” response. This Third Temple production will not be denied.

DeSantis is a good Candidate and as with all good Candidates, his main problem is a very hostile conniving leftist MSM. Trump should not get a second term for several reasons, the main one being his support of the CV-19 Genocide Shot. Give the campaigns some time to get their messages to the public and may the best Candidate for God and country win.

Already COVID is being memory holed, and Disney has faded from the headlines. Running in 2024 was seizing his moment. Suspending his campaign when Trump announced his candidacy, or at least when he was indicted, would have been a proper thing to do. That would have kept DeSantis relevant and well positioned as a backup option in 2024 or a good choice in 2028.
Trump did as much to destroy DeSantis with his petty name calling as anyone. I’m personally tired of watching good people be destroyed by Trump, while dirtbags remain in his cabinet and as agency heads.

Paul, it is not a issue with advice – but instead intent. Sundance at theconservativetrerhouse.com has been focused on DeSantis for several years. The billionaires picked him to “tamp down the populism in the Republican base.” And this plan started four years ago.
