This is my periodic update regarding how TBP is performing regarding pageviews, visitors, and other metrics. Ron Unz recently wrote an article comparing his website to many other well know websites for July. He used a website called Similarweb to gather the data seen below. You will recognize most of the websites, with ZeroHedge far and away the most popular website in this category. The list is dominated by right leaning sites, but has a significant number of lefty websites in the list. It is interesting to see where TBP compares to these well known sites.

I was pleasantly surprised because TBP’s August page views were 1,008,000. That is more than Kunstler and in the ballpark with many other larger sites. Considering I’m a one person operation, having over 1 million views per month is an accomplishment. The more impressive data point is TBP having 4.3 page views per visitor. Only three websites on this list exceeded that figure. That is a tribute to the TBP community who interact in the comment stream for far longer and at a higher quality than other sites.
Since TBP bottomed in June with 628,000 page views, we are up 60% in August. Page views in September have taken another step up to 35,000 per day, from 32,500 in August. These are up from 21,000 per day in June. The graphics below from Similarweb show the surge in ranking for TBP over the last two months, from about 2,700 to under 2000. When you see Zero Hedge ranked 376, with over 30 million visits per month, I’m pretty happy with a ranking of 1,988.
This graphic sure tells a story. No wonder so many commenters on TBP die. Most of you are older than dirt. I guess TBP draws crotchety old bastards. Zero Hedge only has 24% over 65, with 26% in the 55 to 64 category. I don’t know why 83% of my audience is over 55. Maybe doom and gloom only appeals to old farts. I was more shocked to find that 24% of our audience is female. As everyone knows, our females are tough and intelligent. Having to put up with the crotchety old bastards isn’t easy.
The graphics below are from my WordPress stats. You can see the bounce back in July and August. This didn’t happen by accident. I realized the only way to generate page views is through partnerships with like minded sites. I proposed a solution to Steve Quayle where he wouldn’t be bothered by the TBP ads. It has worked perfectly. He now links to two or three articles per day. Whatfinger now links to two or three articles per day, in return for having their video links on our sidebar. State of the Nation links to several articles per day, while TBP posts one of their articles per day.
As you can see, those three partners generate the vast majority of our page views. Occasionally we get a decent amount of views from Rumor Mill News, Liberty Daily and Censored News. I’d love to get our links on Liberty Daily, Citizens Free Press, Rumor Mill News and Censored News on a daily basis, but I can’t figure out how to reach their webmasters. If you know how to get TBP links on these sites, please let me know. I think like minded sites need to band together to fight the evil globalists and our tyrannical government.
Based on the most viewed posts for August, it looks like you crotchety old bastards like boobs and conspiracy theories. Only one of the most popular posts was written by me.
The majority of our viewers are from the U.S. Looks like we appeal to English speakers. Still, we do reach to many other countries. I guess they like boobs too.
Ironically, even though page views are up 60%, donations and advertising revenue are down. Most of the new traffic are drive by visitors. It’s still only a dedicated hundred or so regulars who choose to donate. I’ve cut the number of advertisers to two, in order to improve the user experience, but that has cut the revenue. We had one good month with Amazon, but it has dropped off dramatically. Just remember, if you buy anything through Amazon, do it through the TBP link. Short for argumentum ad hominem, ad hominem is a Latin phrase that translates as ‘to the person’. It describes a rhetorical strategy where the troll attacks something personal about their opponent, such as character, motive, or some other attribute, instead of attacking the substance of the argument itself. Online trolling often relies on ad hominem attacks to derail the discussion. But it’s an unsophisticated technique. TBP users commonly notice it and call the trolls out.

This tactic, named after an online comic, involves the TBP troll asking relentless questions about the topic of discussion, even after the opponent has explained it in detail numerous times.
But they never offer counter CONTENT…
TBP Trolls often use Sealioning to derail discussions of important but contentious issues, such as the obvious lies and cons of the jabs and climate change, Maui and the obvious use of DEW weapons on innocent people in so many phony wild fires, for so many years…and the countless murders that are realized…let alone the number of MISSING CHILDREN!

Not everyone you encounter online is who they claim to be or even who they appear to be…SPECIALLY THE TBP TROLLS.
Sock puppetry is a technique where the same person controls a number of fake accounts…but don’t worry…ADMIN will eventually weed them out.
It’s often used in cyberwarfare and astroturfing campaigns, where the objective is to create a false perception of public opinion. In many cases, sock puppets also engage in trolling, because it helps their demonic operators drive division between different identity groups online.
This is a key objective of cyberwarfare campaigns, such as the COVID ‘SAFE AND EFFECTIVE’ BIO WEAPONS that poisoned 70% of the country with the DEPOP NEEDLE RIDES.

THE STRAWMAN FALLACY
This is another example of a logical fallacy that trolls often use to counter their opponent’s argument. They put forth a ridiculously exaggerated or distorted version of that argument, which is then much easier to defeat.
The distortion is where the name ‘straw man’ comes from; i.e. a weak version of the original. Trolls often use the strawman fallacy on TBP over and over and over…but get called out here more than most places.

POSITIVE TRIBALISM
These anti POSITIVE HISTORICAL TRIBALISM trolls take advantage of our natural tendency towards tribalism by stoking conflict between tribes.
Anti-Positive Tribalism as an online trolling tactic is most often seen in political discussions involving voter groups, most obvious and successful as Democrats vs Republicans (actually the UNI-PARTY). Or all the Yada, Yada, Yada tribes.
It can also show up in discussions about seemingly unrelated issues.
Divide and Conquer…so simple so successful.
Anti-Positive Tribalism in online trolling involves making derogatory remarks about the perceived people groups waking up to the TRUTH.
Trolls who create intergroup conflict often have a vested interest (no matter the tribe) such as being possessed by Luciferin demons…so there is always that.
HATE MONGERING
Some of the online TBP trolling tactics I’ve mentioned above can be quite subtle. But there’s nothing subtle about trolls who use hate against their Creator. They may spew lost and/or Fake Joo – Boo inspired attacks (most don’t realize that) or use ‘wounded speech from life’s hard knocks’ or even issue angry atheist rants! The good thing is: all these behaviors is one of the many reasons Jesus died for them on the CROSS!
Some…a few…will find the narrow gate.
So it’s worth praying for them…as we have been instructed to do! Many of them will come to salvation…
TROLLING AND INFLUENCE OPERATIONS ACROSS THE CENSORED INTERNET
Internet censoring has become more sinister in recent years. In particular investigators revealed it to have played a role in influence operations by many ABC government agencies…and now with exposed cooperation from the captured bought and paid for Mocking Bird media!

Unfortunately, there are no magic solutions to the TBP troll problem.
There will always be TBP trolls, whether those who are being paid to push the government narrative/agenda, or those who troll simply because it amuses them and they are propagandized, brainwashed, dumbed down fluoride fools.
But we have one option to help lessen the effects of trolling…ADMIN!
• Some ignore the NO NAME TROLLS or obvious TROLL posts using uncommon – common sense…but I find many NO NAMES engaging…and I will reply.
• If you reply, kick the Troll’s ass…then kick it again, and again and again.

Admin has dropped the hammer on a few posters that have gone off the deep end. The first one I remember is Hollywood Rob. Then there was Maggie, a long time poster who had some issues and had some posts that were very strange. She regained her composure and was allowed to post again, but uses another handle now. The last one was .22 win mag who had this thing for the Mormons and posted the same stuff over and over and over. Admin finally had to block his IP address.
For the most part, Jim and TMWNN allow an open and free discussion, as long as there are no threats, no consistent over the top personal attacks or posts that make no sense at all and are not germane to the discussion. It is a great place to hang out.

I have experienced days where the site just bugs and when I post a comment it shows like it has posted on my screen but when I reload the page it is gone. It most often happened to me when I was posting a comment with a video/youtube link in it. I could see where if you waited to reload the page and see if someone responded to you it might appear as if your comment were removed.

I know of a couple of bigger websites that lurk TBP because I’ve seen them repost content I posted on TBP that I KNOW they got from lurking. They try to post it with another source or a week later but I know there’s no way it was on their radar or they found it accidentally on their own.

A lady coworker had a bad experience in a better paying job she was “released” at a florist in the small town, a job she indicated she really liked. She was not originally from the town but one on down the road. Anyway, things went south at the florist and her comment was women are more vicious than men with the gossip and such. BTW, I’m only the reporter.
I, once a week go to my local watering hole for free pool. Usually there by 1:00 and home by 5. In my experience, old geezers gossip just as badly as old bags. We just bitch about shit other than leaving the seat up, etc. Pretty much a consensus that women are a beautiful pain in the ass. I miss my Mrs. L, but I’m learning to be without adult supervision, entertain myself and focus on me for a change, at 63. As my baby Bro says, be good to you, NO ONE else will.

Mentioning pool, I’m reading a funny book called The Front Bench Regulars by Larry Dablemont. It’s about a small town near the Big Piney River in Southern Missouri Ozarks if such a place exists. The tale teller is a youngster that runs the pool hall whose patrons are a bunch of old farts.
Tex, we kayak on the Big Piney. There is absolutely no small town near the Big Piney. You have to drive at least 30 miles to St Robert. Lovely river though. If you need gas before you get to the Big Piney, you better get it at St Robert. The maps will show you a couple a little towns maybe 15 miles away. I doubt they even have a post office.
I mentioned small town. No idea how large Houston , Missouri is now. In the 50’s and 60’s I suppose it could have been a “small town”.

I found TBP when libertarian.org put them on to replace reason.com which they said was taken over “by a bunch of communists”(which I agree with). I think.that helped TBP find more readers. Sadly the person who ran libertarian.org shut down the site. SHTF was probably the site closest to TBP on there, but they closed their open commenting, now you have to register, and no one any longer comments there. Cudos to TBP for their open comments. I support the 1st amendment even if idiots, morons, imbeciles, ignorants and liberal trolls (I know that is a bit redundant) comment. Actually they are fun to mock and shoot down. Keep up the good work TBP, educating people to what is happening in America.

Well, perhaps enough people will see it here and they can call and talk to my husband about being my neighbor. And, since it has our real names and location on the ad? I’ve titled it appropriately.
Giving up the Ghost

After more than a decade living here in the Suburbs of the Sticks outside Podunk, Nowhere, Missouri Lower Ozarks somewhere between the Castor and Mississippi Rivers, we have decided to sell the small home on three acres adjoining our land.
In what can only be a final piece of the puzzle moment, I met the original owner of the land (we bought from a real estate broker who’d bought it all on the cheap, as they do) who explained the three acres had been a gift to a daughter who’d put the prefabricated home on barn posts because barn posts were cheap then and bulldozers and good masonry cost money that was not available.
Unfortunately, the payments for the home also became unavailable when the daughter and her three children abandoned what was probably a terrible living situation (the home, though dried in, had no insulation nor did it have interior walls). We used drywall and makeshift insulation to prepare the home for our Mennonite log home builders. We used a half dozen electric heaters and one floor radiator to keep it a barely tolerable 55 degrees at night during that first February here, when the crew was sweeping snow and stacking logs every day.

Once the log home was completed, my husband completely remodeled the little house from the inside out, literally. This year, we decided to sell it rather than rent it, because it is time to start “the boating years.”
I know there are many of you, over the years, who have talked about finding some little spot where you would be safely ensconced among like-minded law-abiding people. Well, here is a golden opportunity for someone to own a little secluded piece of Podunk just down the road and around the creekbed from some of the best neighbors you will never see, unless you want to see them. Or, when you need them.
The NOPIS (No Other People In Sight) is intact for both home sites.
