Terrific book – I have the entire trilogy.
I gave my first copy to my dad years ago. Kind of a mistake on my part. He’s retired, and though he reads a lot of books, the subject matter would be too depressing for him. He’ll also spend a lot of time watching sports, and gets his info from MSCNNBC – I don’t begrudge him watching sports – he’s earned his retirement, but he’ll also just sit & take whatever comes his way, as long as he can watch the boob tube.
Yes very entertaining and haunting. The story raises some difficult questions and situations that aren’t often dealt with in the common romanticized collapse scenarios. The summation being a widespread EMP event likely culls 80-90% of the entire population in a matter of months.
The book does a good job of illustrating how its often the less glamourous and quotidian needs/issues that kill. Of course there’s a lot of conflict and good old fashioned violence too.
But a couple of my takeaways were to keep all of my old eye glasses, plenty of disposable lenses, and stay on top of my dental work. You don’t want the lights to go out with a bad tooth. I have a broken tooth now and so none of this can happen before my appt in november.
The thing with all of these mass-events is that they are cascade failures. There are ways to prepare for the obvious but a lot will just have to play out and nobody knows how they will react to the sudden onset of a reset reality.
I gave the trilogy to my 80 y/o father-in-law. He “enjoyed” it. But was disturbed by it. His worst nightmare is getting robbed of his golden years. Kind of like those of that generation who say they are “glad they aren’t going to be around” for what is coming and by the way how ae my grandkids doing?

His name is Christian Westbrook. He’s known as, The Iceage Farmer. He reports on various alphabet agencies and their interference in our daily lives. He’s been active on various platforms for several years. Has a Telegram channel, several sub channels. Posted at least a couple of times a week up until a few weeks ago where he went dark. The telegram page warns people not to ask where he is, which is odd, “question everything” was more his motto. The content within his sub groups have become very pro, “rules and regulations” which is completely contradictory. There’s a pinned message that basically says, ask where the iceage farmer is and we’ll ban you.

As an aside, ICE AGE FARMER went dark on 11/8/22. That was his last post on Telegram. Since then, nothing from him (Christian Westbrook is his real name) on any social media platform he posted on, including his website.

I was a long time follower of his…it does not look good.
The young man was fearless…and called TLPTB (L=Luciferian) out with pounding, relentless hard evidence in direct no nonense stare downs…a constant stream of exposure of their dirty deeds.

I agree with 90% of the last part of Joe’s video, but his basic premise is a ‘non-sequitur’ a logical fallacy meaning ‘it does not follow.’
Imagine this argument: ‘We had a cyberattack during a full moon therefore there will be more cyberattacks.’ Yes, there will be more cyberattacks, but they’ll have nothing to do with the moon. That’s a non-sequitur.
Joe calls MGM a “barometer.” That’s a stretch. If they knew what was coming they’d have stayed in a cash position after selling without leasing them back during a lockdown. Besides this was almost 3 years ago; ancient history. Then he calls the cyberattack a “ritual” (another stretch) as an example of more to come. But this is another non sequitur; it has nothing to do with Joe’s self-described “barometer.” That’s another non-sequitur.
That’s why I stopped watching the first time. That’s why I just wasted 14 minutes (double speed) to watch it again and confirm all this. Any questions?

A parallel event line to the grid failure or contagion is a nuclear incident; specifically a unilateral attack originated by the USA. It would only be temporary. TPTB could take down the grid for a few months while they are hunkered down in their remote fortresses with plenty of supplies (and obviously their own generators). After two or three months without any electrical power in the whole world, several billion people would be dead, which is one of their main goals. Then they would emerge from their bunkers, restore power, and herd the survivors into tightly controlled and monitored 15-minute cities, and finish implementing their Agenda 2030 goals. I’m not saying I necessarily think they will do that, I am just saying that is one way it could be done. But one thing I do know is that one way or another they are going to achieve their Agenda 2030 goals. The electrical grid has no ‘switch’ to turn it back on if it is taken offline by any means.
For eight years, I was a GS-13 construction manager for the DOE (Bonneville Power Administration) building transmission lines and substations in the Northwestern states..
Phasing in a new or replaced transmission line into service is a difficult, complicated operation under the very best of circumstances. New substations even more so. There’s something always missed between planning and execution. If the grid is ‘taken down’ there’ll be no easy fix. If the transformers are damaged (EMP), fuggitaboutit. We don’t have replacements.
Any nation’s electrical grid’s interconnections are essential and, once lost, aren’t going to be reestablished for a long, long time, if at all..
During grid down, even just a regional one, the people who are capable of reestablishing the grid will be too busy protecting their families to repair or reboot anything.
Turning the internet off would probably have the same effect.
It is an essential platform for banks, merchants across the entire economic spectrum, policing, all government agencies and all infrastructure – airports, traffic control, water treatment & sewage disposal plants and increasingly, our home appliances. Without the internet, everybody loses their grip on the current delusions.
Everybody in a big city has their eyes glued to a screen. When their source of constant distraction disappears, mayhem everywhere. Can’t wait!
Yes, you are right. I wrote my comment above based on the electrical power grid going down. If it goes down, it would effectively take down the Internet is most places, because without electrical power the computers, modems, routers, etc necessary for the Internet to function would mostly not have power, and even if they did, most people wouldn’t have power for their computers and smart phones to be able to post or read anything. But the bottom line is that with no electrical power, and no or very limited Internet access, civilization as we know it would come to a grinding halt within a few weeks at most, and within a few months there would be billions dead.

They already are. First wave attacks under way now. Most Industrial Control Systems are 10, 20, or even 30 years old and have no or little cyber defense. You think those processing plant and rail accidents are just happening by accident?
The ‘grid’ will be the ‘coup de gras’ of a cyber attack. Modern society gets instantly transported back to the 1800’s. With transmission grid interconnected the way it is they don’t even need to go after the big providers. 2 or 3 regionals can create a national grid imbalance and the whole thing comes down like a house of cards. The NE grid blackout was caused by a single malfunction at one substation. Some of the large transformers take years to build and aren’t kept in stocks due to the immense cost. Grid down would likely be years in many areas.
