Excellent selection of music, Admin. Motown will always be some of my favourite music. Here are a few more.

I have always enjoyed the “Wall Of Sound”,that said, seems Phil specter was not only a dick but a murderer.

Many rock bands especially 70’s grew up and covered Motown tunes, here is one of them:

The only all white band on the Motown label….

For going further down a couple good rabbit holes, research The Funk Brothers.
House band members Berry Gordy used who creatively played for many Motown artists hits.

Ditto, for The Swampers, the house band at Muscle Shoals Alabama, used by Rick Hall at Fame Studios.

Interesting stories.

Not really a Motown release, but it could have been. Buddy’s a bit more unhinged than normal…
