And like AverageJoe stated, you get the opportunity to help train them in kewl things like range days, fishing, hunting. When your body starts to say no, they’ll be ready to go. Enjoy them, they grow very quickly.

Would be nice if we spent time doing that sort of thing with our children. Takes you back to the days of Mayberry when folks sat on the porch and talked or sang songs or played cards. Family time, what happened to family time?
TV, computers, cell phones and above all……social media. Many people spend very little time with their children talking, teaching or even just singing a little ditty.
That was just wonderful!
I had to play Twister today for an hour. Let me tell you: it should be banned after your 50th birthday. My bones just don’t bend that way any more.

As a father of a grown daughter I can relate to moments like this with the joy and privilege of the fabulous four year old . These are those memories that fill your heart for an eternity !
