SEATTLE, WA — Amid growing concerns over safety after several devastating mechanical failures on Boeing 737-9 Max aircraft, Boeing CEO Dave Calhoun assured hesitant travelers that all their aircraft are built according to the highest standards of diversity.
“I know everyone is nervous about the doors of their planes blowing off the aircraft mid-flight or the entire fuselage buckling due to faulty parts, but let me assure you: Boeing is diverse,” said Calhoun in a CNBC interview. “In fact, our design and manufacturing crews are the most diverse in our company’s history. Nothing to worry about.”
Boeing is facing NTSB investigations after several mechanical failures that caused Alaska Airlines to ground all 737-9 Max aircraft. Calhoun said such concerns are unwarranted. “We have women, people of color, and even autistic paraplegics working on the 737,” he said. “There’s nothing safer than a plane built by diversity!”
At publishing time, 3 more airlines had grounded the aircraft, likely because they hate diversity.

My daily driving tolerance post 9/11 was already 12-14 hours. A recent flying experience last summer just reinforced governments in the US and Canada are doing everything possible to make flying as unpleasant as possible. With bridges built by girl bosses falling down in Florida and Italian-designed bridge decks buckling in Northern Ontario due to cold weather, more DEI hires mean real people will be killed by these incompetent people who have no business working in fields where technical skill and merit should be all that matters.

I can only hope when the planes do start falling out of the sky they don’t hurt people on the ground like that poor fellow in the Buffalo area killed by the female regional pilot who crashed a Bombardier Dash 8 into his house when she failed to take the correct action when the plane iced up. Let’s assume that a commercial pilot probably is pretty bright, let’s say 120IQ or so. Whites are about 6 times as numerous as Blacks, so just on that basis, you would expect 6 Whites for each Black. But that need for a bright IQ is an issue. Average for Whites is about 100IQ, and the number of 120 or above is maybe 10%. Average for US Blacks is 85 (lower in pure Africans) so you can only expect maybe 1.5% will be at 120IQ or above. Hiring on merit means that roughly one pilot out of 40 will be Black. In the real world the number would be even lower since Blacks tend to do better on the verbal parts of the tests than on the math parts, and the math parts are an important skill set for pilots.
What would be a reasonable number of merit based Black commercial pilots vs White? Maybe 2% or fewer.

It’s a Babylon Bee article but it’s also essentially true. I seem to recall that the 737 Max failures a few years ago were largely due to outsourcing some of the software writing to a group of H1Bs. The code was apparently such a mess that it was very difficult for pilots to fly the plane.
There was also another article I read a few years prior (sorry I don’t have the link) that talked about the cost overruns and delivery issues that Boeing was having. To save money they had decided to outsource production of entire plane sections to different facilities all over the world (before they did almost all of the building in house). A lot of these were essentially 3rd world sites so you can imagine the quality. Outsourcing also had a big impact in that it led to a loss of internal expertise within Boeing itself. Basically, there were no longer enough people left to put all of the plane sections together. So the end result is that you get these flying death traps like the 737 Max.
Wait till you see the Unit 731 Max.
